Shri Baba Mastnath Ayurvedic College , Rohtak was established in 1957 by Mahant Shri Shryonath ji. He was a well known Vaidya with Impeccable knowledge of Nadi Vigyan. The college was established for the welfare of the weakest section of nation i.e. rural population. This is a pioneer ayurvedic college in Haryana to start Ayurved education. The college approved by CCIM and Ministry of AYUSH Govt. of India New Delhi. This is one of institute of India that offers undergraduate course in BAMS with intake capacity of 60 seats. The college has earned its reputation due to well equipped hospital with a central laboratory, pharmacy, herbal garden and dedicated faculty, library. This college has 14 departments. The Baba Mastnath University, Rohtak, a private self-financed university, blossomed under the aegis of Shri Baba Mastnath Math, Asthal Bohar in 2012 through an Ordinance of the Government of Haryana under Haryana Private Universities Act-2006. After thorough inspection by an expert panel of UGC members, the University was accorded approval under Section 2(f). Shri Baba Mastnath Ayurvedic College , Rohtak Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) Counseling is conducted by Shri Krishna AYUSH University (SKAU), Kurukshetra (85%)

Shri Krishna AYUSH University (SKAU), Kurukshetra is responsible for conducting the centralized online counseling for BAMS/BHMS admissions in Govt., Govt.-Aided, Private Colleges, and Deemed Universities in Haryana and UT Chandigarh.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for admission to BAMS/BHMS courses in Government, Government-Aided, and Open Merit (State Quota) Seats in Private AYUSH Colleges of Haryana, a candidate must be a citizen of India and a bonafide resident of Haryana as per the prescribed guidelines, producing a valid residence certificate. All candidates, including those from reserved categories such as SC, BC-A, BC-B, EWS, PwBD, ESM, and FF, must have qualified NEET UG 2024 with the minimum required marks as per NCISM/NCH regulations. Candidates who fail to meet the NEET eligibility will not be considered. The applicant must be at least 17 years old and not more than 25 years as of 31st December 2024, with a five-year relaxation in the upper age limit for SC, BC, and PwBD candidates. Reserved category applicants to Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College, Chandigarh must submit valid category documents. For Management Quota seats, candidates from across India are eligible irrespective of domicile or place of study. Original certificates must be produced at the time of document verification; attested photocopies will not be accepted.
