S.N.V.V.S’s S. G. V. Ayurvedic Medical College, Bailhongal is a dream institute of Ling. Parama pujya Shri Man Niranjana Pranava Swarupi Gangadhar Maha Swamiji of Tippimath (Murusavira) Bailhongal. It is situated in the heart of the city in an area of 15 acres of land. College can be reached by road 50 K.M from Belgaum that has train and air routes.
It is established in the year 1996-1997 by his holiness for the benefit of rural people with the permission of CCIM New Delhi and Govt. of Karnataka. The college has got well furnished and well equipped fourteen departments with seven museums, requisite laboratories as per the norms of AYUSH and CCIM New Delhi. All the departments have qualified and experienced staff to enrich the knowledge of students. Periodic Guest lectures and CME are being arranged to accomplish academic development of students. Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana department and Dravyaguna department are attached with quality control lab and teaching pharmacy. Various preparations such as Hingwashtaka churna, Sitopaladi Churna, Talisadi Churna, Ksheerabala Taila etc are prepared which are utilized in hospital. Well irrigated and maintained college herb garden is developed in two acres of land that has two hundred species of plants. Extensive book collection is available in central library to enrich knowledge of students and staff.

Sixty bedded Ayurvedic Medical College, hospital with its eight OPD are working for the benefit of poor and needy people. Hospital is having well equipped Major and Minor OT, separate Panchakarma therapy room for male and female, labour room and it is having facilities for Kshara Karma, Agnikarma Raktamokshana etc. Hospital has central pathology lab where in various blood and other needed investigations are carried out. It also has X- ray, ECG, USG facilities.
The institute is conducting health check up camps in nearby villages and distributing free medicines to the village patients. Health checks up camps are also conducted in the hospital and in primary, secondary schools.Besides this college is having separate boys and girls hostel, playing ground, indoor game facility and canteen facility.College is conducting guest lectures, CME s for updating the knowledge of students and Teachers. Teachers of the college are sent to various State Level, National Level, and International Seminars, Workshops etc, across the country for updating the teaching skills.

The KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts a centralized online counseling process for Karnataka state, offering admissions to various types of seats: Government seats in Government colleges, Government seats in private colleges, Private/Management seats, and NRI seats in private colleges. KEA organizes this counseling in four rounds. The application form for UG NEET counseling will be available in the UG NEET section of the KEA website.
In Karnataka, 85% of seats in government and government-aided institutions (excluding the 15% All India Quota managed by AACCC), along with seats in private institutions (including State Quota, All India Quota, and Management/NRI Quota), for AYUSH undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy will be allocated through the KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority.

I request not to be considered for further seat allotments in any subsequent rounds for any college or discipline. After making the payment and submitting the required original documents, I will download the admission order and report to the college.
