Himalayiya Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital emerged as a consequence of pain felt by its founders regarding the service and quality of Ayurveda which hurt them till the bottom of their soul. It is not merely an Institute, but a saga, a prayer made by its founders for the God Dhanwantari.
It is a noble attempt stream in the field of Ayurveda, contributing to the society and at the same time keeping its ancient soul alive. The institute emerged as result of joint efforts by Chief Patron Honorable Chairman, Honorable Secretary and other patrons under the shade of ‘Himalayiya Ayurvedic Yog Ewam Prakritik Chikitsa Sansthan’ on 16 Feb, 2005.

The dream took shape when the institute got its approval from the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) New Delhi on 7 August, 2006. Situated amidst lush green environs of Shyampur, the institute is on its way to prove the dreams of their founders true, working with efficient staff and people dedicated up to limits of their livingness the institute is converting the darkness of Ayurveda into a brilliant future. Teaching 50 students in each batch admitted every year the institute makes them feel blessed for studying Ayurveda.
Set amidst the lush green atmosphere of Shyampur, HAMC&H covers around 10 acres of greens with its Herb Garden Plants at Sambhavnamulti-storyed building furnished with all kinds of modern facilities.The college is an excellent combination of various departments equipped with best-in-class facilities with the main objective of serving Ayurveda with passion.

Uttarakhand AYUSH Counselling 2021, The counselling of Ayush Courses in Uttarakhand (UK) for 2021 will be done by Uttarakhand Ayurveda University. The Uttarakhand Ayush Counselling-2021 (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) ayush counselling will be done in online mode on the official website of Uttarakhand Ayurveda University i.e https://uau.ac.in/ Students will have to fill the application form for Uttarakhand Ayush Counselling-2021 (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) counselling.
Uttarakhand Ayurveda University will conduct the counselling Process for admission in Ayush courses i.e BAMS BUMS BHMS for session 2021-22. Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria and have cleared NEET 2021 Exam can fill the application form for Uttarakhand Ayush BAMS BUMS BHMS Counselling 2021. Uttarakhand BAMS BUMS BHMS Counselling application form 2021 will be filled in Online Mode on the official website of Uttarakhand Ayurveda University i.e https://uau.ac.in/.
Eligibility:
An applicant is eligible to take admission in B. H. M. S. (I) course if:
He / she has attained or will attain the age of seventeen on or before the 31st December of the year of admission to the B. H. M. S (I) course.
He / she has passed the 12th class under 10+2 scheme from any recognized Statutory Board / Council / University with requisite 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Biology provided that such Statutory Board / Council / University is recognized by Kumaon University, Nanital, Uttarakhand.
Blind (including color blind), deaf and / or dumb candidates shall not be allowed for admission in the course.
Note:-
A Candidate need to satisfy the conditions of the qualifying examination as prescribed by the entrance examination conducting authority.
Candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination in the current year are also eligible to apply and appear in the Admission Test. Their candidature will be taken into consideration provided that the result of the qualifying examination is published before the notified last date of admission and they have secured the required percentage of marks, substantiated by production of documentary proof.
Admission Test:
Notification for the admission and date of examination for both the above mentioned premedical tests is done through all the leading newspapers of the country.

Procedure for Admission:
Candidates will be admitted only after verification of their eligibility. All original certificates / testimonials / documents will have to be produced for verification. The date of admission will be notified along with the intimation to the empanelled candidates. On the notified date the candidate will have to be present in person. If a candidate fails to report to the Institute on the notified date, the offer of admission shall automatically be cancelled and the seat shall be offered to the candidates on the waiting list in order of merit.
