Government Ayurvedic College, Balangir is one of the three Ayurvedic colleges in Odisha and the oldest in Western Odisha. Established on 5th May 1975 under private management with the active support of eminent citizens of Balangir, it was later taken over by the Government of Odisha on 1st July 1984. The college occupies 9.141 acres of its own land and operates from its dedicated campus at Tulsi Nagar, Balangir, approximately 2 km from both the Balangir Road Railway Station and the Government Bus Stand. Located in close proximity to historical landmarks, Government Ayurvedic College, Balangir is 90 km away from the Gandhamardhan Mountain Range and the Chausathi Yogini Shrine at Ranipur Jharial, situated to the west and south, respectively, enriching the cultural and geographical significance of the institution.

Government Ayurvedic College, Balangir BAMS NEETUG Counseling is conducted by 1) AACCC-UG e-Counseling ( Open To All )and 2) Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)

1} AACCC-UG e-Counseling ( Open To All ) (15%)

AACCC-UG e-Counseling for Admission to All India Quota seats of BAMS/BSMS /BUMS/ BHMS under Govt. /Govt. Aided/ Central Universities (CU)/National Institutes (NI)/Deemed University (DU) and of B. Pharm(Ay) Seats under ITRA, Jamnagar for the A. Y. 2024-25

The allotment of seats is based on the candidate's merit in the NEET (UG)- 2024 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For the A.Y 2024-25, M/o Ayush has decided to include the AIQ seats of B. Pharm (Ay) ITRA, Jamnagar, in the AACCC-UG counseling and the allotment for the said seats is based on the candidate's merit in the NEET (UG)- 2024 as per the eligibility conditions in the relevant Regulations laid down under ITRA Act 2020. The AACCC under the Ministry of Ayush, will conduct four rounds of online counseling for admissions into 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. These rounds include the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds, followed by two phases of the Stray Vacancy Round (SVR-I & SVR-II).

COUNSELING ROUNDS
Round 1
Eligibility for participationOnly NEET (UG)-2024 qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the AACCC-UG counseling.
Process

Step 1: Registration for AACCC-UG Counseling for admission to ASU&H-AIQ and to AIQ-B. Pharm (Ay) seats of ITRA, Jamnagar.

Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fee (Non-Refundable Registration Fee + Security Deposit Money) as per the candidate’s preference on the ‘selection of counseling’ in the AACCC-UG Portal i.e., (i) AIQ-Govt. (ii) Central Universities-National Institutes (iii) AIQ- Govt. Aided and (iv) Deemed Universities.

Step 3: Choice filling and locking as per the candidate’s preference on streams [BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS/B.Pharm(Ay)] and Institute.

Step 4: Processing of seat allotment

Step 5: Publication of provisional result on the AACCC-UG portal

Step 6: Publication of final Seat allotment list

Step 7: Physical Reporting to the allotted college/institute with all original documents within the stipulated time as per schedule.

Round 2
Eligibility for participation

a) NEET(UG)- 2024 qualified candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round.

b) Candidates registered and participated in the 1st Round but were not allotted a seat. No need to register again

c) R-1 not joined candidates who have opted for free exit in the 1st Round.

d) Candidates joined the R-1 allotted seat and submitted willingness for up-gradation at the time of reporting during R-1.

e) Round 1 joined candidates who availed of free exit and filled choices till the last day of choice filling period for R-2 are eligible for seat allotment. (Free exit period for R-1 joined candidates is available till the date of announcement of the R-2 final result-excluding the final result date)

Process

Step 1: Registration for AACCC- UG Counseling. (The candidates who participated in 1st Round need not be registered again)

Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fee includes Non-Refundable Registration Fee + Security Money (Need not to pay by the candidates, those who already paid the counseling fee at the time of registration for 1st Round)

Step 3: Choice filling and locking. The choices filled during the 1st Round become null & void

Step 4: Processing of seat allotment

Step 5: Publication of provisional result on the AACCC-UG portal.

Step 6: Publication of final Seat allotment list

Round 3
Eligibility for participation

a) NEET (UG)- 2024 qualified candidates who have not registered in the 1st Round & 2nd Round. Need to register afresh.

b) Candidates who have already registered but were not allotted seats in the 1st Round & 2 nd Round. No need to register again.

c) Round 1 allotted candidates who availed of free exit.

d) Round 1 admitted Candidates who availed of Free Exit till the date of announcement of the R-2 final result (excluding the final result date).

e) Round 1 admitted candidates but not upgraded during R-2.

f) Round 1 admitted candidates but not upgraded during R-2 and availed of exit with forfeiture of counseling fees 3 days prior to the commencement of R-3 can participate in R-3 with full payment of counseling fees.

g) Candidates joined the R-1 allotted seats and submitted willingness for up-gradation but did not participate in the 2nd Round of counseling.

h) Candidates joined the Round-2 allotted/upgraded seat and submitted willingness for up-gradation in the 3rd Round.

i) Round 2 non-joined candidates who availed of exit with forfeiture can participate in R3 with full payment of counseling fees.

j) Round 2 joined candidates who availed of exit with forfeiture of counseling fees 3 days prior to the commencement of R-3 can participate in R-3 with full payment of counseling fees.

Process

Step 1: Registration for AACCC- UG Counseling. (The candidates who participated in 1st and 2nd Round need not be registered again)

Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fee (Non-Refundable Registration Fee + refundable Security Money). Those candidates who have availed exit with forfeiture of counseling fees need to pay complete counseling fees again for participating in the subsequent rounds.

Step 3: Choice filling and locking. The choices filled during the 1st & 2nd Round become null & void.

Step 4: Processing of seat allotment

Step 5: Publication of provisional result

Step 6: Publication of final Seat allotment list

Step 7: Publication of list of candidates who secured their AIQ-UG seats through R-1/R-2 till the date of announcement of R-3 final result and who have been allotted seats in R-3 are ineligible for any Ayush-UG Counseling 2024 (Central/State-UT). These candidates are ineligible to participate in other Ayush-UG counseling. In this regard, it is also informed that the candidates who withdraw their seats during the period between 3 days before the commencement of R-3 and till the date of announcement of R-3 final result (excluding the final result date) are ineligible for AACCC-UG Counseling due to non-compliance of AACCC-UG Counseling scheme 2024.

Step 8: Physical Reporting to the allotted college/institute with all original documents within the stipulated time as per schedule.

STRAY VACANCY ROUND FOR AIQG/AIQGA/CU/NI

The ASU & H- Govt./Govt. Aided colleges/ Central Universities(CU) / National Institutes(NI) seats and B.Pharm (Ay.) seats remain vacant (not joined/withdrawn) after the 3rd Round of AACCC-UG Counseling will continue to be filled through the online Stray Vacancy Round conducted by the AACCC, M/o Ayush.

The Deemed University seats that remain vacant after the 3rd Round of AACCC-UG counseling will be forwarded to the respective Deemed Universities for conducting online Stray Vacancy Round through the AACCC-UG portal.

Eligibility for participation

a) Only NEET (UG)- 2024 qualified candidates who have registered in the 1st/2nd / 3rd Round of AACCC-UG counseling are eligible to participate, provided that,- i. Candidates who have not been admitted to any of the seats through AACCC-UG counseling or counseling conducted by State/UTs.

b) Candidates who have not registered in the AACCC-UG counseling and have not been admitted to any of the seats through State/UTs counseling are eligible to participate after registration on the AACCC-UG Portal.

c) Round-1 non-joined candidate availed of Free Exit.

d) Round 1 admitted Candidates who availed of Free Exit till the date of announcement of the R-2 final result (excluding final result date).

STRAY VACANCY ROUND FOR DEEMED UNIVERSITY
EligibilityRegistered candidates who opted for ‘Deemed University’ as ‘selection of counseling’ on the AACCC-UG portal and not in the final list of ineligible candidates published by AACCC, M/o Ayush on the portal are eligible.
Non-eligibilityCandidates who have been admitted through any previous rounds of AACCC-UG Counseling and State/UT counseling and in the final list of ineligible candidates published by AACCC, M/o Ayush on the portal are ineligible to participate in the SVR-DU of AACCC-UG Counseling.

•AACCC, MoA forwards the list of eligible registered candidates to the Deemed University for conducting the SVR-DU counseling process through the AACCC-UG portal.

•The final list of ineligible candidates will also be sent to the Deemed Universities to prevent them from participating in the SVR-DU counseling process conducted through the AACCC-UG portal.

•For seat allotment under Deemed Universities, the online Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities through the centralized AACCC-UG counseling portal.

•The Choice-filling option on the AACCC-UG Portal is not available for candidates seeking admission to the Deemed University in the online SVR-DU. (Candidates need to approach respective Deemed Universities for allotment of seats in the online SVR-DU conducted through the AACCC-UG portal.)

•These seats are domicile-free, which means no reservation is applied on the seats under Deemed Universities.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee as the designated State Counselling Authority, will oversee the counselling process for admissions to State Quota seats in BAMS and BHMS courses across all government and private institutions in Odisha. Additionally, under the latest guidelines issued by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, the OJEE Committee will also manage the counselling process for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in two private Ayurvedic colleges:

  1. Sri Sri Nrusinghanath Ayurved College & Research Institute, Paikmal, Bargarh
  2. Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research Hospital, Arilo, Cuttack

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

  • Candidates seeking admission through BAMS/BHMS counselling must qualify NEET (UG)-2024 with a valid rank. Eligibility requires a minimum of 50th percentile (40th for SC/ST/OBC, 45th for General PWD, and 40th for SC/ST/OBC PWD), as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
  • The candidate must be of at least 17 years of age as on 31.12.2024.
  • For State Quota seats, candidates must provide a Resident/Nativity certificate (Form No.-III, See Rule-3 of Govt. of Odisha) as proof of their parents being permanent natives of Odisha. However, no domicile certificate is required for admission to AIQ seats in private institutions.
  • Student must secure at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined at the 10+2 or equivalent level (general category). For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum requirement is 40% marks. For Candidates with Disabilities (under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016): The minimum qualifying marks are 45% for general category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Step-by-Step Counselling Procedure
Step – 1Candidates interested in participating in the BHMS/BAMS counselling and admission process must meet the specified eligibility criteria and register online at the OJEE website https://ojee.nic.in/ Registration
requires creating a unique username and password. Only registered candidates will be eligible for seat allotment and admission.
Step – 2The candidate has to fill up the online Registration form, fill the choice of preference, lock the choice and may take a print out of the same for his/her own future reference. During registration, candidate must
pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- online as non-refundable counselling/registration fee. A detailed explanation of the process of choice filling and locking is given in the Section E: Choice Filling and Locking.
Step – 3The candidates, who get provisional allotment in the first round, have to deposit, as part-admission fee, an amount of Rs.5000/-+ Rs.3500/- (Towards University Registration fees) = Total Rs.8500/- online in the
candidate’s login portal. Candidates have to pay the differential amount during admission at their respective institutes.
Step – 4The candidates, who get provisional allotment, after choice filling, have to (a) pay the part-admission fees of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only)+ Rs.3500/-(Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred towards
University Registration fees) through online in candidates login id (b) have to exercise the option of freeze or float and (c) to report at OJEE Cell Gandamunda Bhubaneswar, Odisha as per the schedule date and
time for document verification and provisional admission. Section C: List of Documents required to be verified during document verification at OJEE Cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar. In case the candidate does
not report to OJEE Cell for verification of documents and provisional admission the allotted seat will be cancelled and the candidate may participate in 2nd round as per the 2nd round guideline.
All the allotted candidates have to follow mandatorily (a), (b) and (c), else the allotment will be cancelled. All the seats shall be allotted strictly on the basis of eligibility, filled choices and merit.
LIST OF DOCUMENTS

Candidates must bring the following original certificates/documents along with a photocopy set for document verification and provisional admission at the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda.

i. 10th board certificate and mark sheet
ii. +2 Sc. pass certificate and mark sheet
iii. College/School leaving certificate
iv. Nativity/Resident certificate of Odisha (Form–III, See Rule-3 of Govt. of Odisha)
v. SC/ST Certificate by birth issued by competent authority, Government of Odisha (See Rule-8(I)) (if applicable)
vi. Green Card issued by Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha. (if applicable)
vii. EWS Certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable) for 2024- 25 financial year will only be accepted.

N.B: 1. Candidates applying under Physically Challenged (PC) or Ex-Serviceman (ES) quota are advised to go through the Section D: Reservations for details.
2. For availing admission under any types of quota, one should possess Nativity/ Resident Certificate of Odisha and relevant Quota Certificate. Inability to produce the relevant documents during the period of
document verification will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat under that claimed quota.
3. There will be no requirement for any domicile certificate for allotment and admission in AIQ seats of Private Institutions.

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE ALLOTMENT
1st Round of Allotment

1. In the first round, all registered candidates are provisionally allotted seats basing on their merit (NEET Rank) and choices exercised. Reservations shall be considered as per candidate’s declaration during registration.

2. After provisional allotment, these candidates have to deposit, as part admission fee and University registration fees as mentioned above through online in the candidate’s login portal, exercise the option of ‘freeze’ or ‘float’, report at OJEE Cell for document verification and provisional admission. Detail document required are listed in Section C: List of Documents.

3. Candidates, who have paid the admission fees, exercised their option as freeze/float and successfully get their documents verified, are considered for provisional admission as per their allotted category and sub-category

4. Candidates who do not complete the steps as defined in (2) above, are disqualified and will not be considered for admission process.

5. Candidates who fail to produce relevant documents for their category or subcategory they have claimed, will be disqualified of their temporary allotment and will be considered as general candidate in the subsequent round of allotment and the candidate have to fill choice fresh in 2nd round.

WITHDRAWAL

Any candidate, who, for any reason, wants to withdraw from the process or wants to resign from the allotted seat, can do so within the stipulated date for ‘withdrawal’ as notified in the schedule and as per the counselling process flow.

2nd Round of Allotment

1. This round will start with registration for candidates not registered earlier.

2. Candidates who have not allotted any seat in 1st round, candidate allotted a seat but not reported have to fill choices fresh to be considered for the 2nd round allotment process.

3. Candidates who have allotted a seat and done all the formalities of reporting by making freeze/float have not to do anything in this round. Candidates exercised option as float will be upgraded based on their rank, choice filled and subjected to the availability of the seats.

4. Candidates, who do not make online fee payment and/or do not comply with the online document verification process after first round allotment, will be treated as not reported case.

5. Candidates, who get fresh allotment in this round, must make online fee payment and complete the reporting process by reporting at OJEE cell, complete document verification process as explained before.

3rd Round of Allotment

Third Round counselling process will be similar to the process as mentioned above for second round counselling except the process of withdrawal. Candidates wish not to continue with the process must withdraw 3days prior to the 3rd Round allotment.

After 3rd Round allotment there may be an upgradation round of allotment depending on the number of non-reporting, then only final allotment letter will be downloadable and candidates can join to the admitted colleges/Institutes for academic activities.

Stray Vacancy AdmissionIf any vacancy arises after reporting of candidates in allotted Institutes, Stray vacancy Counseling will be conducted. Procedure and schedule for stary vacancy counseling will be notified later.
