A.V. Samiti’s Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Bijapur, is a Private College established in the year 1955. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore, located in Karnataka with an annual intake of 65 seats.

AVS Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1955. Initially started with Diploma Course in Ayurveda, later upgraded with Degree Course and now it is having Post Graduate & Ph.D Courses. Since the inception the Institution s catering the needs of Students and Society. This Institution has 150 bedded well equipped Hospital. More than 40 Teaching Faculty members are serving in this Institution. The Institution feels proud to have around 2000 alumni’s. This Institution is crowned with 48 ranks to the University.

The college has highly experienced, proficient and competent teaching staff. The college has an adequate number of books, journals, chronicles and research papers to provide students with a comprehensive academic orientation. A digital library with internet facilities to the study and research needs of the students. There are audio-visual study rooms and a discussion hall. The college has well-equipped labs for conducting experimental studies in respective subjects. A well-furnished hostel accommodation is provided for both boys and girls. The College has adequate number of vehicles to provide transport facilities to the students.

The KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts a centralized online counseling process for Karnataka state, offering admissions to various types of seats: Government seats in Government colleges, Government seats in private colleges, Private/Management seats, and NRI seats in private colleges. KEA organizes this counseling in four rounds. The application form for UG NEET counseling will be available in the UG NEET section of the KEA website.

In Karnataka, 85% of seats in government and government-aided institutions (excluding the 15% All India Quota managed by AACCC), along with seats in private institutions (including State Quota, All India Quota, and Management/NRI Quota), for AYUSH undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy will be allocated through the KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority.

The allotment of seats will be conducted online, first round, second round followed by the Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round (subject to availability of seats).

First Round:-

• Option entry (NOTE: "The options entered by the candidate in the first round will carry forward to the subsequent rounds of seat allotment, and no new options can be added. The initial option entry will be considered final. However, candidates can view and rearrange their existing options or delete higher preferences in subsequent rounds.
