About College

Shri Gurukrupa Shikshan Prasarak Mandal established Smt. Vimladevi Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital in 2010. The College offers BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery course, an undergraduate course, designed and controlled by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi [CCIM] and approved by AYUSH Department of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The College is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and is recognized by State Govt. of Maharashtra.

SGSPM is successfully managing the Smt. Vimladevi Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, conducting B.A.M.S. Degree course, since October 2010. The College has an intake capacity of 60 students per session. This college provides all facilities to its students that help them in developing their skills and enhancing their knowledge in the field of Ayurveda with the tools of conceptual study along with practical implementation. We continuously train generations of students and mould them into outstanding Ayurveda practitioners and excellent teachers in the field of Ayurveda.

The college has 13.75 Acres of land where in more than 2000 Ayurvedic plants of more than 275 species are planted. College has well equipped departments of Ayurved Samhita & Siddhant, Rachana Sharir, Kriya Sharir, DravyagunaVigyana, Rasa Shastra &Bhaisajya Kalpana, Rog Nidan&Vikriti Vigyan, Swasthvritta& Yoga, Agad Tantra & Vidhi Vaidyaka, Kayachikitsa, Panchkarma, Shalyatantra + (Ksharsutra Lab.), Shalakya Tantra, Prasuti&Stri Rog and Kamarbhritya - Bala Rog. These departments fulfill all essential requirements and facilities. Rasa Shastra &Bhaishajya Kalpana department prepare Ayurveda Medicines in the pharmacy of our institute.

Admission Process

Course Duration:

5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Seat Distribution:

-15% AIQ (All India Quota)

AACCC will be doing Counselling for minimum of 15% AIQ seats for Government, Government aided Central Universities, National Institutes, and Private colleges, and 100% seats for Deemed Universities.

- 85% Government Quota

85% seats were filled through government counseling conducted by Maharashtra Ayush Neet.

Eligibility:

NEET eligibility marks 2021	10+2 percentage required for NEET 2021 exam is separate for every category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects UR – 50%, OBC/SC/ST – 40%, PWD – 45%
NEET 2021 Qualifying Exam	Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with PCB, Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. 10+2 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.
Age Limit for NEET 2021	They have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of their admission to the first year Undergraduate Medical Course.
Nationality	Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) intending to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses in a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify NEET (UG).
