The Entrance Commissionerate, was established in 1983 under Government Order GO(MS) No. 31/83/HEDn, is entrusted with conducting entrance examinations and counselling for admission to various professional courses in the state. The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is responsible for organizing entrance tests and carrying out seat allotments to professional undergraduate and postgraduate courses based on merit and communal reservation. Major courses handled by CEE include Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical (KEAM), Three-Year and Five-Year LL.B, LL.M, B.Pharm (Lateral Entry), and various postgraduate programmes such as Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Nursing, Medical, Dental, and Pharmacy. The Single Window System, known as the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP), reflects CEE’s commitment to streamlining admissions by providing a systematic, transparent, and merit-based allocation mechanism. Criteria of Eligibility for Admission: Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission to professional courses unless otherwise notified; however, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders, including PIO cardholders, are treated at par with Indian citizens solely for the purpose of admission in accordance with the Hon’ble Supreme Court judgment and relevant Government Orders, though PIO/OCI candidates are not eligible for any kind of reservation. Based on nativity, candidates seeking admission to professional courses are classified into three categories: Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I), and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II). Candidates who have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually at the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or examinations recognised equivalent thereto and obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible. For BHMS course, Biology/Biotechnology studied as additional subjects as 10+2 is not considered for admission.
(i) Keralite: A candidate of Kerala origin will be categorised as a ‘Keralite’. Children of AllIndia Service (AIS) officers (Non-Keralites) allotted to Kerala cadre are deemed to be ‘Keralites’ as per G.O. (Rt) No. 822/08/H. Edn. dated 29/05/2008. But they will not be eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.
(ii) Non-Keralite Category I (NK I): A candidate who is not of Kerala origin but fulfils anyone of the following conditions will be categorised as 'Non Keralite Category I' (NK I).
a. A candidate who has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of Non-Keralite parents belonging to Government of India/Defence Service, posted to Kerala.
b. A candidate who has undergone qualifying course in Kerala and who is son/daughter of Non-Keralite parents who are serving/served Government of Kerala for a minimum period of two years.
c. A candidate who is not of Kerala Origin but has been a resident of Kerala State for a period of 5 (five) years within the period of 12 (twelve) years of his/her study.
d. A candidate who is not of Kerala Origin but who has undergone his/her school studies in Kerala from standard VIII to XII.
Note :- Non-Keralite Category I candidates will be considered against ‘State Merit’ seats for Engineering/Architecture/B.Pharm/Medical & Medical Allied courses. But they will not be eligible for Communal/ Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.
(iii) Non-Keralite Category II [NK II]: Candidates who do not come under ‘Keralite’ or 'Non-Keralite Category I' will be categorised as ‘Non-Keralite Category II'. Such candidates are eligible for admission to both Government and Management quota seats in Engineering courses in Government Cost Sharing Engineering colleges. However the ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates will be considered for admission to the Government seats in Engineering courses in Government Cost-Sharing Engineering colleges only when the Keralite and Non-Keralite I (NK I) candidates are not available for admission. ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates are also eligible for admission to both Government and Management quota seats in Private Self-financing Engineering/Architecture/Siddha/Unani colleges. But for Siddha and Unani course, ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates will be considered only when the Keralite and Non-Keralite I (NK I) candidates are not available for admission. ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates are also eligible for admission to a maximum of 10% seats under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Pharmacy colleges subject to fulfilling the eligibility conditions in clause 6.2 & 6.3. ‘Non Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates are not eligible for admission to Medical and Medical Allied/ Engineering/ Pharmacy/Architecture courses in Government colleges. Fifteen percent of the seats for the admission of students to MBBS, BAMS, BSMS and BUMS Courses in Self-Financing colleges in Kerala are set apart for the allotment of candidates irrespective of their Domicile as per the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for the Entrance Examinations on the basis of the rank obtained in the NEET-UG 2025 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), New Delhi. The ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates will not be eligible for Communal/ Special/ Persons with Disabilities reservation, or any fee concession.
Note: The following category of candidates will not be governed by clauses (i), (ii) and (iii) above: Candidates to be admitted in respect of seats reserved for the nominees of Government of India, Administration of Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep Administration, Jammu & Kashmir, candidates selected through the All India quota seats for MBBS/BDS courses and candidates sponsored under reciprocal quota by Govt. of Karnataka/ Tamil Nadu.

How to Apply for the Entrance Examination / Admission: Online submission of application through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in is required to apply for admission to all the courses (MBBS, BDS, and Other Medical & Medical Allied courses, B.Pharm, Engineering and Architecture).
Application Fee: A candidate who does not belong to SC/ST communities will be treated as ‘General’ candidate for the collection of application fee. The application fee for all candidates will be as follows:

Online Payment: The application fee must be paid online only through credit card, debit card, or internet banking; successful payment will show “Transaction Successful,” and in case of failure, the amount (if debited) will be refunded within 5–7 working days. Application/additional fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Online Submission of Application: Detailed instructions for filling each item of the application are available under the “How to Apply” link on www.cee.kerala.gov.in; candidates must complete all five mandatory steps of the KEAM-2025 online application, including uploading the required certificates and documents, on or before the notified last date. Applicants should access the “KEAM-2025 Online Application” link on the website and are advised to visit the site regularly for updates and notifications.
Step 1: Registration: Registration is a one-time process during which a system-generated Application Number will be issued. Candidates must create their own password, preferably a strong one, to ensure secure online access. A strong password should be at least 8 characters long and include at least one alphabet (a–z or A–Z), one number (0–9), and one special character (!@#$%^&*). The password must be re-entered for confirmation. Candidates are advised to carefully note and retain the Application Number and login credentials provided at this stage for all future logins.
Note: Don’t disclose password to others. It’s recommended to change the password periodically. Password is required till the end of allotment process of KEAM-2025 for further login including mark submission and Centralized Allotment Process.
Step 2: Fill Application: At this stage, candidates must enter all basic details required by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations after carefully reading the Prospectus. The information provided will be used for processing the application; therefore, any error or submission of false, incomplete, or incorrect details may affect eligibility for admission or reservation claims. Filling in all fields is mandatory. Once the application is completed, candidates can review the entered details using the “Save & Preview” option and, after confirming their accuracy, submit the application by clicking “Save & Finalize.”
Note: No modification of the application will be possible after clicking the ‘Save & Finalize’ button in step 2.
Step 3: Application Fee At this step, the candidate has to make the payment of application fee by way of Online Payment.
Step 4: Upload Images & Certificates A recent passport size photograph of the candidate and Signature of the candidate, all in jpeg format of given specifications are to be uploaded. In addition all the certificates and documents in support of the various claims made in the applications should be uploaded. Nativity proof as stipulated in clause 6, proof for date of birth and SSLC or equivalent certificate are mandatory. Note: If more than one document have to be uploaded for a single claim, all the documents should be converted into a single pdf file and uploaded.
Step 5: Print Application Acknowledgement Page After completing step 4, Candidate should take a printout of the Application Acknowledgement page from the online application for future references.
Applications should be complete in all respects. A candidate will be considered for the Entrance Examination or for admission, only if he/she has furnished the relevant certificates prescribed in the Prospectus, in proof of eligibility, or in support of any claim for reservation, under any category.
The procedure of online submission of application will be completed only by uploading all supporting documents and certificates. Candidates are directed to keep a copy of the printout of Application Acknowledgement page of the online application for further reference. Do not send the printout of the Application Acknowledgement page and supporting documents to the Office of the CEE by post/e-mail/in person. Candidates are liable to produce all the original documents as and when required by CEE/admitting authority for verification.
Reservation Claims:
To claim Communal Reservation: Only ‘Keralites’ as specified in Clause 6.1(i) are eligible for Communal Reservations.
(a) Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for State Government Education purpose in the prescribed format (Annexure XXVII) should be uploaded to the online application for claiming reservation under SEBC quota and OEC claim for Government Seats.
(b) Community certificate in the prescribed format should be uploaded to the online application for claiming reservation under SC/ST, for Govt. seats.
(c) Inter-Caste marriage certificate in the prescribed format from the Tahsildar concerned should be uploaded to the online application for candidates who are children of Inter-Caste married couple of whom one is SC/ST, and who are eligible for educational and monetary benefits admissible to SC/ST as per Para 2 (ii) of GO (MS) No.25/2005/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005. Proforma of the certificate is available in website (See Annexure XV).
(d) EWS certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure XXVI (a) / (b)) should be uploaded to the online application for claiming reservation under EWS quota seats.
Note: (i) Candidates claiming SC/ST reservation who are children of Inter caste married couple of whom one is SC/ST, should upload the Extract of First standard school admission register showing the Caste/Community and the relevant page of Secondary School Leaving Certificate also. If the candidate is not from the Kerala SSLC stream, relevant page of the School Leaving Certificate of the parents should be uploaded.
(ii) SC/ST claims in respect of candidates whose parents were natives of other states but migrated to the State of Kerala before 1950 shall upload documents in evidence of migration also.
(iii) Christian converts who have subsequently embraced Hindu religion should upload Suddhi Certificate and Gazette Notification and also upload Community Certificate in the Prescribed Format.
To claim Special Reservation: Candidates should upload required certificates to the online application in support of any special reservation claimed by them and produce Original certificates before the admitting authority (See clause 5.2).
To claim reservation under ‘Persons with Disabilities’: No documents/certificates in support of disability claim is to be uploaded to the online application. However, candidate claiming PD status must indicate this on the application.
To claim any Fee Concession/Scholarship: Candidates belonging to ‘Keralite’ category as defined in Clause 6.1(i) (except those who are eligible for educational and monetary benefits admissible to SC/ST/OEC categories who wish to be considered for any fee concession/ scholarship/ any other benefit based on the annual family income, that may be announced by the Government/College/Admitting authority at any time after the submission of the application) should upload the income certificate from the authorities concerned in the prescribed format, to the online application itself, to avail of such concessions. Income certificates produced after final submission of online application will not be considered for granting any such concession.
Note: Certificates which are defective and incomplete will not be considered for granting any claim.
Documents to be uploaded:
(a) Proof for Nativity as specified in Clause 6.1.1.(Mandatory)
(b) (i) SSLC or equivalent certificate (Mandatory)
(ii) If the date of birth is not mentioned in the SSLC Certificates candidate should upload equivalent certificate to prove date of birth (Mandatory).
(c) The following students must upload the course certificate duly filled in with signature and seal of the Head of the Institution for getting weightage/reservation-
(i) Final year Plus-two students who studied Sanskrit as second language, for Ayurveda ranklist preparation.
(ii) Final year VHSE (Livestock Management), HSE (Dairy Farmer Entrepreneur course), HSE (Small Poultry Farmer course) and Final year VHSE (Agri.) course/ HSE (as per NSQF Agri. stream) students.
(iii) The candidates who have already passed the above Plus-two/VHSE course must upload the mark list of the qualifying examination.
(d) Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for State Government Education purpose in the prescribed format given in Annexure XXVII from the Village Officer concerned for community reservation claims in the case of SEBC/OEC candidates.
(e) Community Certificate from the Tahsildar concerned in the prescribed format given in Annexure XXIXin the case of SC/ST candidates.
(f) Certificates as proof in support of any claim for special reservation.
(g) Inter-Caste marriage certificate in the prescribed format given in Annexure XV from the Tahsildar concerned, if applicable. [See Clause 7.5.1 (c)].
(h) Mark lists of all parts of the BSc. Degree Examination and Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects, in case of those seeking admission to Medical courses as per Note to Clause 6.2.1.
(i) Documents of Minority reservation, if applicable, as per clause 5.6. (In the prescribed format given in Annexure XXVIII)
(j) EWS Certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure XXVI(a), (b)) as per G.O (MS) No.23/2022/P&ARD dated 04.10.2022, issued by the Village Officer (if applicable).

Note: Relationship should clearly be established. In case relationship is mentioned as Niece/Cousin/Uncle/Aunt only in the space provided for in the certificate, the Village Officer should give an explanation of the relation in the certificate itself. Niece/Cousin/Uncle/Aunt should be explained with clear relationship. The relationship link should be clearly explained. Certificates showing mere Niece/ Cousin/Uncle/Aunt without establishing clear relationship link will be rejected. Candidates shall verify the certificate properly before submitting online. Directives of AFRC from time to time will be applicable to the NRI documents subject to the Government Orders.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala is responsible for regulating admissions to a wide range of Post Graduate (PG) courses in the state through a transparent Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Admissions are primarily based on entrance examination scores such as NEET PG for Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, and Nursing courses, along with other state-level entrance tests. CEE Kerala oversees the entire admission process for programs including MD/MS, LLM, PG Ayurveda, PG Homoeopathy, PG Nursing, and PG Dental courses, ensuring a fair and merit-based selection system.

Eligibility for Admission: Only Indian citizens of Kerala origin are eligible to apply for admission; however, Non-Keralite candidates are eligible to apply for All India Quota seats in self-financing colleges. There is no upper age limit specified for PG admission.
Service Candidates: The compulsory service period after completion of the course will be 12 (twelve) years for Medical Officers doing PG under Service Quota in AYUSH Department. But only in the case of medical officers whose retirement age is 56 years and who retire within 8 to 12 years after completion of PG course, the compulsory service after completion of PG course may be fixed up to the date on which they would normally retire from service. Those who do not have continuous service for at least eight years after completing the course will not be eligible for deputation benefits. The upper age limit of the teachers quota candidates will be 50 as on 31-07-2025. The upper age limit of the Medical Officer quota candidates will be 45 reckoned as on 31-07-2025. But the upper age limit of the Medical Officers Quota (ISM dept.) candidates coming under National Pension Scheme will be 45 reckoned as on 31.07.2025.
Academic Qualification: All candidates, including Service Quota candidates, seeking admission to PG (Ayurveda) courses in Kerala for the academic year 2025–26 must qualify the AYUSH PGET (AIAPGET-2025) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH and should be included in the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. Applicants must have passed BAMS/BAM/Ayurvedacharya from NCISM-recognized colleges or from Universities of Kerala, or hold an equivalent degree recognized by KUHS, with 50% marks separately in theory and practical in each subject; however, candidates who passed BAMS/BAM before 1995 from Universities of Kerala are exempted from this minimum marks requirement. The cut-off date for completion of the compulsory rotating internship is 31 August 2025, and the internship dates declared by the candidate will be treated as final. Admission will be granted only on producing the original Internship Completion Certificate and Registration Certificate from the concerned Medical Council at the time of counseling.
AYUSH PGNET 2025: Selection of candidates and allotment of specialties will be based on the rank list published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala, from the AYUSH PGNET 2025 conducted at the All India level by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH.
Qualifying Criteria: All candidates seeking admission to PG Ayurveda courses in Kerala for the academic year 2025–26 must qualify AIAPGET-2025, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH; this requirement does not apply to foreign nationals. To be eligible, candidates must secure at least the 50th percentile, while SC/ST/SEBC candidates must obtain a minimum of the 40th percentile. For Differently Abled candidates, the minimum required percentile is 45th for General category and 40th for SC/ST/SEBC.
Application Procedure: All candidates (including Service Quota) seeking admission to the courses should apply through the online application provided in the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and the application fee can be paid through online payment. Those having an Internet banking account, Credit card or Debit card can make use of the facility. Candidates availing this facility should read and follow each of the instructions given in the website carefully in order to ensure that the payment is successful.
Step wise procedure on how to apply using Online Application Form: A qualified candidate in AIAPGET MD/MS (Ayurveda)- 2025 seeking admission to the courses should apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Five Steps for applying online There are 5 (five) steps for the online submission of application and all the steps are mandatory. Candidates should complete all steps and are advised to keep a soft copy of printout of the Acknowledgement page for future reference. For the online submission of application, candidate has to visit the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in where he/she can find the link “PG Ayurveda 2025– Online Application”.
Step 1: Registration: This is a one-time process. Candidate should provide AIAPGET -2025 Roll Number, AIAPGET – 2025 Application ID and AIAPGET Rank for entering the registration page. Date of birth must be same as that AIAPGET -2025 registration page. Candidates will be prompted to enter mobile number and create a password and as outcome of the registration process a system generated unique Application Number will be displayed which the candidate has to note down and use for the rest of the application submission process as well as the allotment process. Candidates are advised to create a strong, unique password.
The requirements of a strong password are:
a minimum length of 8 characters
a minimum of one alphabet character [a-z or A-Z]
a minimum of one number (0-9)
a minimum of one symbol [! @ # $ % ^ & * ]
The candidate has to re-enter the password for confirmation.
Don’t use a shared password or disclose the password to others. Be informed that the application number and password will be required through the remaining stages until the end of the admission process for accessing all the online facilities related to PG Ayurveda-2025.

During the filling up of application, frequently click ‘Save’ button available in the home page to protect your data.
The data provided here will be used for processing the application. Any mistake in filling this page or providing false/incomplete/wrong information will affect the candidate’s eligibility for admission or claim for reservation under any category. It is obligatory that the candidate should fill all the mandatory items in the application. Candidates should take utmost care while filling the Online Application. Step 3: Pay Application Fee Application fee for General/SEBC candidates is Rs.1000/- (Rupees Thousand only) and in the case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits as per G.O.(MS) No. 25/05/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005 is Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only). Service candidates seeking admission in General Quota also, should pay extra amount of Rs. 1000/- The application can be submitted in online mode only, and all the supporting documents are to be uploaded only. Online payment method is available for remitting the application fee.
Step 4: Upload Images & Certificates: A soft copy of latest passport size color photograph with light colored background in jpeg format between 15 kb to 100 kb of size is to be used for uploading. The photograph should not be taken with the candidate wearing Cap or Goggles. Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly. POLAROID and COMPUTER /MOBILE-PHONE generated photos are not acceptable.

SEBC/OEC candidates must upload Non-Creamy Layer Certificate from Village Officer. Candidates listed in Annexure XII with family income up to ₹6 lakh must upload Community & Income Certificate.
C. Income Certificate (If applicable): Candidates eligible for educational concession (Annexure XII) with family income up to ₹6 lakh must upload an Income Certificate from the Village Officer.
D. Inter-Caste Marriage Certificate (If applicable): Candidates claiming inter-caste benefits must upload the Inter-Caste Marriage Certificate issued by Tahsildar. Additional Non-Creamy Layer Certificate may be required for SEBC cases.
E. Differently Abled Certificate (If applicable): Disability Certificate issued by the District Medical Board (within 6 months) must be produced at medical verification.
F. EWS Certificate (If applicable): Upload EWS Certificate from the Village Officer (e-District format accepted). Unavailed EWS seats will go to General Merit.
G. Proof of Age: Upload SSLC Certificate / Indian Passport / Birth Certificate.
H. Special Category Certificates (If applicable): Children of Fishermen or inmates of Sri Chitra Home, Nirbhaya Home, or Juvenile Home must upload a certificate from the concerned authority.
Step 5 : Print Acknowledgement Page After completing the uploading of all necessary certificates/documents, candidates can take a printout of the Acknowledgement page by clicking on the link ‘Print Acknowledgement page’. Candidates are advised to keep a softcopy or printout of the Acknowledgement page for future reference. No need to send the hard copy of Acknowledgement page or supporting documents to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination.
Additional Documents for Service Candidates: Service candidates (as per Clause 8(E) and 8(F)) must produce the original documents before the admitting authority whenever required. These include a declaration stating that the candidate has not previously undergone a PG Ayurveda course (Annexure XVII), service details issued by the Accountant General, and service details certified by the Head of the Department in the prescribed format (Annexure XVI).
Service Candidates should send the printout of Acknowledgement page, along with all the required documents, by Registered Post/Speed Post/Hand Delivery to the Controlling Officer concerned, before the time and date notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Documents to be furnished at the time of admission before the Admitting Authority Candidates should produce all the Original Documents at the time of admission.
Additional documents in original to be presented by the Service Candidates:
a. Declaration to the effect that he/she has not undergone PG Ayurveda course under Service Quota.
b. Service Details from the Accountant General.
c. Details of service from the Head of the Department in the format prescribed.
Service Quota Candidates should send the printout of the confirmation page, along with all the required documents, by Registered Post/Speed Post/Hand delivery to their Controlling Officers concerned, before the time and date notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
