Vagdevi Ayurveda Medical College, Warangal was established in 2006. The college is affiliated to Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada now which is known as Dr. YSR University of Health Science. The institute has comprehensive facilities for teaching, inexhaustible resources for medical and allied research and provides credible patient care. The college with an annual intake of 50 seats. The institute offers Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery course. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Chemistry, Physics and Biology are eligible for this course. The Institute is well equipped with all modern facility. The college has well equipped, airy and spacious class rooms with all modern facilities. The institute has well maintained library with wide range of books collection and journals. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Biotechnology as subjects, and securing the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET (UG) 2025 is compulsory as per the guidelines of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, New Delhi. Candidates seeking admission must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2025 those who do not attain this age by that date are not eligible. Age will be calculated based on the date of birth mentioned in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or an equivalent examination certificate. There is no upper age limit for admission. English is a compulsory subject, admission is granted only once in a year, and candidates must be medically fit. For educational qualification, eligibility for admission to ASU&H undergraduate courses shall strictly follow the ASU&H-UG Regulations.

Minimum Cutoff Score in NEET (UG) – 2025

RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES: Admission to 85% of the available seats shall be reserved in favour of the Local candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as given in Annexure-III of G.O. (P) No. 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979 and as per G.O.Ms.Nos.80,81&82 of HM&FW (C1) Dept., dated.22-07-2025.

1. Andhra University Area: The part of the State comprising the erstwhile districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam shall be regarded as the Local Area for the purpose of admission to the Andhra Pradesh Government / Un-aided Non-Minority / Minority Professional Institutions i.e., Undergraduate Medical and Dental Professional courses and to any other educational institutions (other than a state-wide university or statewide educational institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.
2. Sri Venkateswara University Area: The part of the State comprising the erstwhile districts of Anantapur, Kurnool, Chittoor, Cuddapah and Nellore shall be regarded as the Local Area for the purpose of admission to the Andhra Pradesh Government / Unaided Non-Minority / Minority Professional Institutions i.e Undergraduate Medical and Dental Professional courses and to any other educational institutions (other than a statewide university or state-wide educational institution) which is subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.

Minimum Cutoff Score in NEET (UG) – 2025

Local Candidate:
A candidate is considered a local candidate of a particular local area if they have either studied in educational institutions in that area for at least four consecutive academic years ending with the year in which they appeared (or first appeared) for the qualifying examination, or, if they did not study during this period, they must have resided in that local area for at least four years immediately before the commencement of the qualifying examination.
If a candidate does not qualify under this rule, they may still be considered a local candidate if they have studied in the State of Andhra Pradesh for at least seven consecutive academic years; in such cases, the local area will be decided based on where they studied or resided for the maximum period, or where they last studied or resided if the period is equal. A Local Status Certificate issued online by the MRO, as per Government of Andhra Pradesh rules, is mandatory to claim local status.

Eligibility under 15% Andhra Pradesh Unreserved Seats: The following candidates are eligible to apply under the 15% unreserved seats:

1. Candidates eligible to be declared as local candidates of either of the two local areas of Andhra Pradesh.
2. Candidates who have lived in Andhra Pradesh for a total of 10 years (excluding study outside the State), or whose parent(s) have lived in the State for 10 years (excluding employment outside the State).
3. Children or spouses of parents working in the Andhra Pradesh State Government, Central Government, Public Sector Units, Local Bodies, Universities, or other recognized quasi-government institutions within the State.

Note: Scanned copies of all relevant certificates must be uploaded with the online application. Residence certificates must be issued by Revenue Authorities and clearly mention the period of residence.

APPLICATIONS THROUGH ONLINE: The online application form for determining the merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats, based on NEET (UG)–2025 scores, will be made available on the official website https://drntr.uhsap.in

CERTIFICATES REQUIRED BEFORE FILLING THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM: The process of application and certificate verification has been changed. The following certificates are required to complete the application process. All certificates must be scanned and kept ready for upload. Application fee has to be paid through online mode only.

VERIFICATION OF CERTIFICATES: The eligibility of a candidate will be verified basing on the uploaded copies of scanned Certificates/ documents. The candidates who are claiming reservation under Special Categories i.e. PwD, NCC and CAP have to watch the university website for further notifications, if any, for scrutiny of original certificates of respective special category.

Note: The candidature of the applicant will not be considered for admission into UG AYUSH courses if not submitted the online application by uploading the scanned copies of required certificates/documents as per regulations.

MERIT LIST: The Provisional Merit Position of the candidates those who applied through online in response to the notification issued by Dr. NTRUHS for Competent Authority Quota seats into UG AYUSH shall be determined by NEET UG-2025 scores after verification of uploaded certificates by the University and officials of concerned departments as per eligibility rules/ regulations.

THE UNIVERSITY WILL RELEASE FINAL MERIT POSITION OF ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR EXERCISING WEB OPTIONS.
