The allotment of seats is based on the candidate's merit in the NEET (UG)- 2024 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For the A.Y 2024-25, M/o Ayush has decided to include the AIQ seats of B. Pharm (Ay) ITRA, Jamnagar, in the AACCC-UG counseling and the allotment for the said seats is based on the candidate's merit in the NEET (UG)- 2024 as per the eligibility conditions in the relevant Regulations laid down under ITRA Act 2020. The AACCC under the Ministry of Ayush, will conduct four rounds of online counseling for admissions into 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. These rounds include the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds, followed by two phases of the Stray Vacancy Round (SVR-I & SVR-II).

The KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts a centralized online counseling process for Karnataka state, offering admissions to various types of seats: Government seats in Government colleges, Government seats in private colleges, Private/Management seats, and NRI seats in private colleges. KEA organizes this counseling in four rounds. The application form for UG NEET counseling will be available in the UG NEET section of the KEA website.
In Karnataka, 85% of seats in government and government-aided institutions (excluding the 15% All India Quota managed by AACCC), along with seats in private institutions (including State Quota, All India Quota, and Management/NRI Quota), for AYUSH undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy will be allocated through the KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority.

The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, conducts online counseling for admission to Post Graduate (MD/MS) courses in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy (ASU&H). The counseling is based on AIAPGET-2024 scores and is applicable for seats in Government, Government-aided, Central Universities, National Institutes, and Deemed Universities.

Step 4: Seat Allotment Processing – Seats are allotted based on merit and candidate choices locked during choice filling.
Step 5: Provisional Result Publication – The provisional allotment result is published on the AACCC-PG portal. Candidates can email [email protected] for queries before the final result is published.
Step 6: Final Seat Allotment List – The final result is published, and candidates can download the allotment letter from the AACCC-PG portal.
Step 7: Physical Reporting – Candidates must report to their allotted college/institute with all original documents within the stipulated time (Refer to FAQs 25-30).

NOTE: Candidates who wish to participate in R-3 need to make a calculative decision before participating, as once they are allotted/upgraded a seat in R-3 of AACCC-PG Counseling, they must join the R-3 allotted/upgraded institute and their earlier allotted seats/admitted seat/allotted seat after R-3 result through any rounds of State/UT Counseling, if any, shall stand cancelled.

The KEA PG AYUSH Information Bulletin 2024 outlines the admission process for MD/MS courses in Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, and Homeopathy under both All India and State Government quota seats in Karnataka. For admission to PG AYUSH courses in AIAPGET 2024, candidates must score a minimum of 50th percentile (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC and PwD). Only Karnataka SC/ST/OBC candidates can claim reservation benefits. Applicants must be Indian citizens and hold a Bachelor's degree in AYUSH (BAMS/BNYS/BHMS/BUMS) from NCISM/NCH-recognized institutions in Karnataka or be of Karnataka origin if graduated from outside the state. Candidates must have completed their Compulsory Rotating Internship by 31st July 2024. Those already holding a PG degree in any specialty are ineligible, while PG diploma holders can apply for the same specialty. In-service candidates must be below 48 years as of 15th May 2024, with exemptions for children of government employees, MPs, or defence personnel with Karnataka ties.
Note to candidates:
The candidates who have been allotted seat in the first round and those who opts choices 2 or 3 and also those candidates who have not been allotted a seat during first round should submit their original documents on the dates notified to KEA to become eligible to participate in the second round. The dates for submission of documents will be notified on the KEA Website before the second round of online seat allotment.

NOTE: There would be mop-up round for PG-AYUSH courses, where the candidates who have not been allotted any seat in first round or second round would be eligible to participate.
