SSMD Ayurveda College and Hospital has been established by Mr. M.D.Jindal and his father Mr. Hari Chand Jindal. The foundation stone of the hospital was laid on 2 nd April 1972 by Dr. G. S. Dhillon, Speaker, Parliament of India. The most fortunate thing is that the hospital was inaugurated by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba himself. The gracious visit of Baba ji on 15.03.1973 is in response to the silent prayers of millions of devotees of Moga area. The miraculous cures of incurable diseases have awakened deep faith in the hearts of the people all over the Punjab. The first batch of college was initiated in the year of 1983.

Hospital:The Hospital complex includes all the advanced as well as modern facilities like X-ray, ECG, USG, Operation theater & High-tech lab. The Hospital is designed & constructed as per specifications and norms laid down by C.C.IM., Government of India and managed by an experienced, well-qualified doctors.. The Complex has all the following seven Ayurvedic Clinical departments.

GRAU Punjab BAMS/BHMS/BUMS Admissions 2021-22 – Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab was granting admission in BAMS, BHMS, BUMS courses through PAET(Punjab Ayush Entrance Test). So this year the admission in BAMS/BHMS/BUMS courses will be granted on the basis of NEET score. Candidates seeking admissions in BAMS/BHMS/ BUMS in the university have to appear in NEET- 2022. Since the admission is granted on the basis of NEET 2022 scores, the applications are invited only from those candidates who have cleared the NEET 2021 . The forms has been released online for BAMS, BHMS, BUMS admissions in Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab. The application forms is available on the official website. NEET 2021 qualified candidates are eligible to apply ONLINE for admission.
Candidates are required to register themselves for courses through online registration  at GRAU website.
Candidates must upload soft copy of photo and signature of the candidate through online.
Fill category(ies) carefully in application form, once claimed will not be changed.

Note: Application form cannot be submitted offline or sent by post. It has to be submitted online only.

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects.
  2. Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in Biology /Biotechnology,Physics & Chemistry.
  3. The Minimum age of the applicant at the time of admission should be 17 years.
  4. Applicant must be NEET qualified.
  5. Applicants should be an Indian.
