Shri Balahanuman Ayurved Mahavidhyalaya established in a year 1963 by Saint Shri Balaramdasji Maharaj with auspicious aim of "Service to Man is Service to God".This College is recognized by Gujarat University & Central Council of India. The college with an annual intake of 60 seats.This institution provides health service to the poor and weaker section of the society in that way it is great boon to the poor people. Government recognized. In addition to the education, the students are provided all facilities such as lodging, boarding, clothing, etc. all free of cost.

For the achievement of the above objectives, Shri Balahanuman Ayurved College has been giving a great contribution. The Gujarat University and Central Council of India have granted recognition to the College. In addition to the facilities of modern Laboratory and Library, the College is equipped with latest education techniques such as audio and video cassettes. Constant efforts are being made to keep the students well informed of the relevant latest developments taking place the world over.

Facilities:
Some of the facilities offered by Shri Balahanuman Ayurved Mahavidyalaya are museum, dining hall, hostel for boys and girls separately, herbal/botanical garden, conference room and library. The herbal garden contains ayurvedic medicinal plants in such a way that students can get practical education.

Shri Balahanuman Ayurved Mahavidhyalaya  is offering ayurvedic medicine degrees through fourteen departments functioning in its campus. Some of these departments include Department of balaroga which indicates Pediatrics, Department of Prasutitantra & Striroga, which denotes Obstetrics – gynecology, department of Shalakyatantra, which denotes, Dentistry, Ophthalmology and ENT, Department of Shalyatantra indicating General Surgery, department of Panchakarma that indicates Bio-Purification, etc…Totally, 14 departments under different branches of medicine are functioning under the college.

Admission Process

In Gujarat Counseling for AYUSH is conducted by  Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) .ACPUGMEC is limited to the conduct of centralized Counseling, which includes online registration, document verification, online/offline Counseling procedure, seat allotment and issue of admission order as per NEET UG of current academic year. Candidates are advised to go through the user manual in the registration portal while filling the online registration form given at http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx

Course Duration:

 5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects.
  2. Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in Biology /Biotechnology, Physics & Chemistry.
  3. The Minimum age of the applicant at the time of admission should be 17 years.
  4. Applicant must be NEET qualified.
  5. Applicants should be an Indian.

  2. Marks sheet (10th & 10+2) and higher Qualification (if any).
  3. NEET Score.
  4. Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution, last attended.
  5. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC Candidates).
  6. Migration certificate (T.C.) from the University or College last attended
  7. In case of having a breach of study, an affidavit must be submitted by the candidate that during the gap period he/she was not involved – in any political activity, Criminal activity and no Criminal case is pending against him/her in any court of law.
  8. Six passport sized colour photographs.
  9. Two self-addressed and stamped (Rs5/-) envelopes.
