Shri Gurudeo Ayurved College located in Gurukunj Ashram, Amravati, Maharashtra, is a private institution which is established in in the year1959 under the visionary leadership of Rev. The allotment of seats is based on the candidate's merit in the NEET (UG)- 2024 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For the A.Y 2024-25, M/o Ayush has decided to include the AIQ seats of B. Pharm (Ay) ITRA, Jamnagar, in the AACCC-UG counseling and the allotment for the said seats is based on the candidate's merit in the NEET (UG)- 2024 as per the eligibility conditions in the relevant Regulations laid down under ITRA Act 2020. The AACCC under the Ministry of Ayush, will conduct four rounds of online counseling for admissions into 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. These rounds include the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds, followed by two phases of the Stray Vacancy Round (SVR-I & SVR-II).

The Commissioner of the State CET Cell, Mumbai, will oversee the admission process for all Health Science courses in Maharashtra. Eligible candidates (NEET UG qualified) will be invited to submit online applications for admission to Government, Corporation, Private, and Minority Colleges. The online application form will be available on the official website www.mahacet.org. There will be four or more rounds of candidate selection, depending on the availability of vacant seats in subsequent rounds. The selection process will be based on merit and the preferences submitted by the candidates. Candidates must submit fresh preferences separately for each round, including Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Online Stray Vacancy Round.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Health Science Degree Courses | The candidate must be an Indian citizen and must register online with the State CET Cell, Mumbai, through the official State CET Cell website. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates will be eligible for admission to Government, Corporation, Government-Aided, and Private Unaided colleges for the academic year 2024-25, provided they obtained OCI status before 04/03/2021. Additionally, the candidate must have completed their 10th and 12th grades in the state of Maharashtra and must either be a domicile of Maharashtra or have resided in the state for a minimum of 10 years. (As per Annexure – CC and the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order in W.P (C) No. 891 of 2021 dated 03/02/2023). |
Eligibility for Institutional Quota(For MBBS,BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BUMS Courses) | Eligible candidates from across India, including Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Outside Maharashtra Candidates (OMS) who have appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and are declared eligible for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses, will be considered for institutional quota seats. 85% of the seats under the State quota will be allocated to candidates from the State and filled based on the NEET UG 2024 merit list, with reservations as per constitutional and specific rules, including for female candidates. 15% of the Institutional quota for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses in unaided private and minority colleges will be filled on an All India basis, including eligible NRI, OCI, and Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates. These seats will be filled through the Competent Authority via online CAP rounds (refer Annexure-S, Annexure-DD, Annexure-EE, and Annexure-GG). For other courses (excluding MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS) in private and minority colleges, the 15% Institutional quota will also be filled on an All India basis, including NRI, OCI, and OMS candidates. These seats will be filled by the respective institutions through direct applications from eligible candidates.
EWS reservation: The 10% reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) will apply to available seats for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses only if the central government or the respective councils increase the current number of seats. For all other courses, the 10% EWS reservation will be applied to the existing available seats (refer to Annexure-T for details).
Non-Creamy Layer Certificate: Candidates belonging to DT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SEBC, and OBC (including SBC) categories must provide a valid Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate, which should be valid until at least 31st March 2025, during physical document verification and admission. Failure to present this certificate at the time of document verification will result in the candidate being considered under the open (general) category. It is important to note that submitting the NCL Certificate after document verification will not restore the candidate's claim to their reserved category.
Creamy Layer: Candidates belonging to the 'Creamy Layer' within the categories DT-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, SEBC, and OBC (including SBC) should note that they are not eligible for reservation benefits. To claim reservation under these categories, candidates must provide a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, as required by government resolutions. This certificate, in the prescribed format, should clearly indicate its validity up to or beyond 31st March 2025, and must be submitted during the physical document verification process.
A candidate from the Backward Class category, belonging exclusively to Maharashtra State, is eligible to claim a seat under the reserved category. However, any requests to change the category from Open to Reserved after the release of the provisional merit list will be directly rejected.
Inter-se for vacant constitutional reserve seats: Seats that remain vacant from the reserved categories—SC, ST, DT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SEBC, and OBC (including SBC)—will be filled by candidates from the respective reservation groups in the following order of priority.

RESERVATION FOR FEMALE CANDIDATES:
30% of the seats under the Competent Authority's purview are reserved for female candidates across all courses. This reservation applies to all categories, including SC, ST, DT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SEBC, OBC, EWS, Common, HA, MKB, and DEF, and will be implemented concurrently. Female candidates will first be allotted seats from the female quota. Once the female quota seats are exhausted, they will be considered for general seats based on merit. If there are not enough eligible female candidates, the remaining seats will be offered to male candidates of the respective category.
Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Quota:
Five percent (5%) of the total annual sanctioned intake is reserved for candidates with specified benchmark disabilities, as listed in the schedule of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (see Annexure – D). Constitutional reservations will be applied concurrently within the PWD quota seats.
