The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State (State CET Cell) conducts entrance exams and manages admissions for various professional courses like AYUSH including engineering, medical, law, pharmacy, and management. It oversees the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for government, aided, and private unaided institutes, ensuring a transparent and merit-based selection. The CET Cell also publishes notifications, guidelines, and admission rules while implementing government regulations for fair and standardized admissions across Maharashtra.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be Indian nationals with valid proof and hold a BAMS degree from a recognized Maharashtra college (except Out of State category) with a One-Year Rotatory Internship as per NCISM, Ministry of AYUSH. Those domiciled in Maharashtra but with a BAMS degree from outside the state must submit a Domicile Certificate, while 15% AIQ BAMS candidates from outside Maharashtra need a certificate from their college dean. AIA-PGET 2025 minimum marks: 50th percentile (General), 40th (Reserved), 45th (PwD-General). Candidates must submit Permanent Registration of M.C.I.M, and AIQ candidates must provide registration proof or a fee receipt. Minority quota is for Maharashtra minority candidates, who must claim it in the original application with required documents.

The Online Preference Filling and Selection Process involves separate preference form filling for Round-1, Round-2, Round-3, and the Online Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates can edit their preferences multiple times before clicking the submit button, but once submitted, changes cannot be made. The preferences filled for each round will be considered only for that specific round. However, preferences submitted for the Online Stray Vacancy Round will be used for any subsequent Stray Vacancy Round(s), if conducted.
If the candidate joins his/her Round-1 seat and wants to upgrade his/her allotted seat, then he/she shall NOT fill the Status Retention Form and will have to fill fresh choice(s) for Round-2.
If a candidate joins and is satisfied with the seat allotted in Round-1 and is not willing for upgradation in Round-2, he/she can fill the Status Retention Form.
Such a candidate will not be considered for any of the further round(s) during the admission for the academic year.
However, such a candidate can resign from the allotted seat before the prescribed/stipulated date and will be eligible for Round-2.
If the candidate is selected in Round-1 of counseling and does not report at the allotted institute, such a candidate will be eligible for Round-2. No new registration is required. Such a candidate may participate again in Round-2 after logging in with their earlier Registration details and filling fresh preference(s). His/her selection of Round-1 stands cancelled. The seat allotted to such a candidate who does not join will be presumed vacant as of the last date of joining and from the next date will be considered for Round-2 allotment.
Available Seats for Round-2: Seats not allotted during Round-1. Seats vacant due to non-joining/cancellation by candidate(s) allotted in Round-1. Seats available due to upgradation of candidate(s) who were allotted during Round-1 and joined the seat.
Following types of Candidates are eligible for seat allotment in Round-2: Registered candidates who did not fill choices in Round-1. Registered candidates who participated in Round-1 but did not get any seat allotted. Registered candidates whose seat allotted in Round-1 got cancelled during document verification due to invalid/wrong claims. Such candidates are eligible for selection with corrected claims. Candidates who reported/joined at the allotted institute during the joining period of Round-1 and did not fill the Status Retention Form. Candidates who did not join the allotted seat during Round-1. Candidates who joined and resigned up to the prescribed last date of joining Round-1.
Important Points: Candidates will have to fill fresh choices for Round-2. Round-1 choices will be considered null & void. Candidates not interested in Round-2 should avoid filling preferences. Otherwise, their Round-1 seat will remain allotted. Allotment of seats in Round-2 will be based on merit and preferences filled by candidates. Candidates upgraded in Round-2 will lose their Round-1 seat, which will be made available for further allotment. Candidates not upgraded in Round-2 will retain their Round-1 seat. Candidates allotted a seat in Round-2 who do not join will forfeit their security deposit and will be eligible for Round-3 only after fresh registration and security deposit payment. Candidates who join their Round-2 seat and wish to upgrade must NOT fill the Status Retention Form and must fill fresh choices for Round-3. Candidates satisfied with their Round-2 seat can fill the Status Retention Form to avoid further rounds.
Following types of Candidates are not eligible for seat allotment in Round-2: Candidates who joined their Round-1 seat and filled the Status Retention Form. Candidates who have not filled fresh preferences for Round-2. Candidates allotted a seat in Round-2 who do not join will not be eligible for further rounds unless they re-register and pay the security deposit. Candidates who do not join the selected seat during Round-2 will be eligible for further rounds only after re-registration with a non-refundable registration fee and security deposit.
Available Seats for Round-3: Seats not allotted during Round-2. Seats vacant due to non-joining/cancellation by candidate(s) allotted in Round-2.
Following types of Candidates are eligible for seat allotment in Round-3: Registered candidates who did not fill preferences in Round-1 and Round-2. Registered candidates who participated in Round-1 and Round-2 but did not get any seat allotted. Candidates who joined the seat in Round-1/Round-2 and did not fill the Status Retention Form. Candidates who have registered in Round-3. Candidates will have to fill fresh preferences for Round-3. All previous preferences will be considered null & void.
Candidates not eligible for Round-3: Candidates who joined a seat in Round-1/Round-2 of State Quota and filled the Status Retention Form. Candidates allotted a seat in Round-3 of All India Quota (AACCC) or Round-2 of All India Quota seats of State CET Cell. Candidates allotted a seat in Round-3 must join the allotted college/seat; they will not be eligible for subsequent rounds of State Counseling Process.
Subsequent Round(s): After Round-3, subsequent Online Stray Vacancy Round(s) will be conducted if seats remain vacant.
Available Seats for Online CAP Stray Vacancy Round(s): Seats not allotted during Round-3. Seats vacant due to non-joining of candidate(s) allotted in Round-3.
Eligible Candidates: Candidates who have registered and filled online preference form previously but have not been allotted a seat till Round-3.
