This institution is functioning under PerunthalaivarKamaraj Medical College Society (PKMCS) which is governed by Govt.of Puducherry. This is the only college in South India which is funded by Department of AYUSH – Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi.The college was Affiliated to Pondicherry University.The college with BAMS(Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) No.o fSeats per year : 50.
