National Institute of Ayurveda College was established in August 1946 by the Government of Rajasthan and this College was merged to form National Institute of Ayurveda known as NIA in Ayurveda fraternity on 7th February 1976. This was one of the very few Ayurvedic Colleges in the country to introduce Post-Graduate Education in Ayurveda as early as in 1970.

After its establishment in 1976, the Institute has grown tremendously in the field of Teaching, Training, Research, Patient Care etc., as a result of which it has now 14 Specialties for Post-Graduate Education as well as Regular Fellowship Program leading to Ph.D. Apart from this there is also Under Graduate course (BAMS), Diploma Course in AYUSH Nursing & Pharmacy and various other certificate courses.

NIA has a 280 bedded NABH accredited hospital which caters to around 3 lakhs Around 1200- 1500 patients visit NIA OPDs per day. The hospital is equipped with a modern well equipped Pathology Laboratory running in PPP mode. The institute is equipped with modern research instruments for drug standardization and research.

Since its existence, it has continuously been engaged in promoting reforms and developments in Ayurveda System of Health care at National and International level. The Institute is not only a premier Institute under the Central Government but also amongst apex Institutions in the field of Ayurvedic education and training in the country and comparable to none as far as Ayurveda is concerned.

NIA has made a name of excellence in teaching, training and patient care activities and incomparable academic standards in the field of Ayurveda at Graduation, Post-Graduation, Fellowship (Ph.D.) Diploma and Certificate levels.

Rajasthan AYUSH Counselling 2021 – UG/PG AYUSH Counselling Admission Board, Jodhpur, Rajasthan is conducting the counselling for Rajasthan BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BNYS 2021. Rajasthan AYUSH Counselling 2021 Application Form

The registration for Rajasthan AYUSH Ayush Counselling has started online. The eligible candidates need to complete the registration process before the end date. In order to apply online, the candidates need to fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number. Then upload the scanned images of their Photograph in JPG/JPEG format. Once the candidates uploaded the images need to make payment for the registration and print at least four copies of the Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee.

Eligibility:

  1. Candidates should be Indian Citizen and they have state domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
  2. They must be qualified in 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subjects.
  3. The age of the candidates should be minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 25 years & there are 5 years of age relaxation for reserved candidates.
