  Late Karmvir Vyankatrao Tanaji Randhir established K.V.T.R. Ayurved College in 1972 when there were hardly any roads and the transport facilities to Boradi and its peripharies in order to give the best possible medical services to the rural and aboriginal people. Kisan Vidya Prasarak Sanstha has done revolutionary work in the field of education by opening near about 60 schools and colleges. K.V.T.R. Ayurved College is one of them. This is the first ayurved college in Dhule and Jalgaon district at 40 years ago in the mountains ranges of Satpuda.
    The intake capacity of this college is 30 students. College has well constructed building having well equipped 14 departments including Sanskrit samhita siddhant (Basic principles), Sharir rachana (Anatomy), Sharir kriya (Physiology), Swastha-vritta (preventive and social medicine), Agadtantra and vyavahar ayurved (medical jurisprudence and toxicology), Rognidan (Pathology), Dravyagun vidnyan, Rasa-shashtra, Kayachikitsa (general medicine), Panchakarma (Biopurification methods), Balrog (Paediatrics), Strirog and prasuti-tantra (Gynaecology and obstestrics), Shalya-tantra (Surgery), Shalakya-tantra (ENT and ophthalmology) with qualified teaching staff.
    K.V.T.R. ayurved college has 60 beded J.G.M. Ayurved Hospital running eight O.P.D. including Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Balrog, Strirog and prasuti-tantra, Shalya-tantra, Shalakya-tantra, Swastha-vritta and yoga, emergency. J.G.M. Ayurved hospital provides many facilities including medicines, pathological investigations, E.C.G. at minimal charges. This hospital provides disease wise diet to the patients. Multiple camps have been organized by the hospital for rendering medical services to the masses. The aim of ayurveda is of two folds, to maintain and promote the health of healthy and to treat the illness of the diseased. For serving these purposes ayurveda has described five bio-purification methods which are called as panchakarma including vaman (inducing emesis), virechan (inducing purgation), nasya (nasal instillatillations), basti (medicated enemas) and raktamokshan (blood letting). This hospital provides these panchakarma treatments to the patients at an affordable cost.

Course Duration:

 5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Seat Distribution:

-15% AIQ (All India Quota)

AACCC will be doing Counselling for minimum of 15% AIQ seats for Government, Government aided Central Universities, National Institutes, and Private colleges, and 100% seats for Deemed Universities.

- 85% Government Quota

 85% seats were filled through government counseling conducted by  Maharashtra Ayush Neet.

NationalityIndian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) intending to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses in a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify NEET (UG).
