Govt. Ayurveda College & Hospital has been established in the year 2012 and the 1st batch of students in undergraduate course has been admitted in October 2014, duly permitted by the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India, New Delhi. The intake capacity of course of the college was 60 seats and than 75 seats from 2018 onwards. This is second Govt. institute providing Ayurvedic education along with health care in Northern part of Chhattisgarh. This college has special attention towards the health education programme in remote villages of Chhattisgarh.
Institution offers Ayurvedaacharya Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery (B.A.M.S.) course of 4 and ½ years duration with one year compulsory internship.The college with an annual Intake Capacity for B.A.M.S. is 60 Seats.

The counselling of Ayush Courses in Chhattisgarh for 2021 will be done by CG Health Department, Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Ayush Counselling-2021 (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) ayush counselling will be done in online mode on the official website of CG HEALTH Chhattisgarh i.e http://cghealth.nic.in/ Students will have to fill the application form for Chhattisgarh Ayush Counselling-2021 (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) counselling.
CG HEALTH will conduct the counselling Process for admission in Ayush courses i.e BAMS BUMS BHMS for session 2021-22. Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria and have cleared NEET 2021 Exam can fill the application form for Chhattisgarh Ayush BAMS BUMS BHMS Counselling 2021. Chhattisgarh BAMS BUMS BHMS Counselling application form 2021 will be filled in Online Mode on the official website of CG Health Department, Chhattisgarh i.e Http://cghealth.nic.in/.
1. Candidates of Chhattisgarh domicile only are eligible for admission in B.A.M.S Course through this counselling board. 2. Candidates must be of minimum 17 years and not more than 25 years as on December 31, 2021. 3. Students should have passed 10+2 with Science Biology with English (50% for General and 40% for SC/ST/OBC marks in aggregate are compulsory in Physics,Chemistry, Biology) 4.Applicant must be NEET qualified. 5. Applicants should be an Indian.
