Madhya Pradesh State AYUSH NEET-PG Counselling is a centralized admission process conducted by the Directorate of AYUSH, Government of Madhya Pradesh, for admission into postgraduate AYUSH courses (MD/MS in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani) offered by government and private institutions in the state. Based on the merit of candidates in the AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test), the counselling process includes online registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted colleges. The entire process is carried out as per the guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, ensuring transparency and merit-based admissions.
For admission through Madhya Pradesh State AYUSH NEET-PG Counselling, candidates must have qualified the AIAPGET exam with a minimum of 50 percentile marks (40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45 percentile for General/EWS PWD candidates), as per the amended regulations of NCISM and CCH. If the Central Government revises the minimum qualifying percentile, it will be applicable accordingly. Candidates must have completed BAMS/BHMS/BUMS from institutions recognized by the respective councils (CCIM/CCH) and listed in the Second Schedule. For admission to government college state quota seats, the candidate must be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh. All India quota seats in government colleges and unreserved seats in private colleges are open to candidates from all states, but reserved seats in private colleges are only for MP domiciles, with preference also given to MP residents in unreserved private seats. Candidates who are natives of MP but studied outside the state in AYUSH Ministry-recognized institutions are also eligible. All admitted candidates must register with the MP Ayurvedic & Unani Systems of Medicine and Naturopathy Board or the MP State Homeopathy Council within one month of admission, and physical presence along with submission of original documents is mandatory at the time of admission.
Registration
The Directorate of AYUSH will release the counselling schedule and detailed program on its official website and the portal https://ayush.mponline.gov.in. Applicants are required to visit the portal https://ayush.mponline.gov.in to complete the registration process. A non-refundable registration fee of ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred only) must be paid. To complete the registration, candidates must create their Candidate Profile on the portal.
Seat Allocation Through Counselling
Seats will be allotted to eligible candidates in courses and colleges based on their ranking in the entrance examination conducted by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, or the National Testing Agency (NTA). The seat allocation process will be conducted through online counselling, and detailed guidelines for the same will be released separately. A list of participating colleges and the seat reservation matrix will be published on the official portal www.ayush.mponline.gov.in at the time of counselling. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates. The names of the candidate and their parents must be identical across all marksheets, certificates, and related documents. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must ensure the correction is made before online counselling, otherwise they will be held responsible for any consequences related to admission. Additionally, candidates must use the same photograph during counselling that was used while appearing for the AIAPGET examination. Admission to All India Quota seats will be conducted through a centralized counselling process at the national level, based on instructions/orders issued by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, or the designated agency. Candidates must regularly visit the Ministry's official website for updates.
