Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government (Autonomous) Ayurveda College and Institute Bhopal was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh in the name of late Pt. Khushilal Sharma a leading Ayurvedic Physician and father of the Hon. Former President of India Late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma in the Year 1995.

Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government (Autonomous) Ayurveda College and Institute Bhopal - "A Center of Excellence" is located in the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal is the city of lakes surrounded with green hills. The climate of the city is moderate and remains pleasant through out the year.The Institute is located in the vicinity of MANIT hills in the Chuna Bhatti region, a beautiful site of famous Kaliyasot dam. The campus is spread over 50 acres of verdant plateau.

Library:Institute has its own central library. Library has good collection (approx. 12400) of books on Ayurveda as well on Modern Medicine. The books are classified into General/Text books and Reference Books. Book Bank facility is also available for students of weaker section of society. Set of textbooks is provided to the students of reserved category every year. Cataloguing is operated in a scientific manner by trained staff. It has open access system. Audio-Visual aids are also applied for smooth functioning of library. Separate seating arrangement is made for teaching staff and students in the reading area of the library.

With the centrally sponsored scheme of department of AYUSH, Institute has established a medicinal plant garden in the 5 acres of land; where in about 260 species of medicinal plants have been grown and preserved. It is attached with the department of Dravyaguna. Total no. of plants in herbal garden is 800 Approx.

Hostel:Two separate hostels for boys & girls are available located in Nehru Nagar & Dhanwantari Parishar respectively just few km. from the Institute.

Admission Process

MP Ayush NEET counselling 2021 will start after the results of the NEET 2022 Exam. The counselling procedure is for those applicants who have scored equal to or above the minimum cutoff in the NEET exam. It is a centralized online counselling process through which applicants can apply to various government and private colleges are  affiliated with the State Medical University of Madhya Pradesh.

Course Duration:

 5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Seat Distribution:

-15% AIQ (All India Quota)

AACCC will be doing Counselling for minimum 15% AIQ seats for Government, Government aided, Central Universities, National Institutes, Private colleges and 100% seats for Deemed Universities.

Eligibility:

  1. Candidates should be Indian Citizen and they have state domicile of Madhya Pradesh.
  2. They must be qualified in 10+2 examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subjects.
  3. The age of the candidates should be minimum of 17 years and a maximum of 25 years & there are 5 years of age relaxation for reserved candidates.
