Bundelkhand Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Jhansi is one of the highest ranking colleges in UP. The college is popularly known as Govt. Ayurvedic College, Jhansi. It is situated in Bundelkhand, Jhansi Uttar Pradesh state of India. It came into existence in 1934 and was established by the first Member of parliament of Jhansi Acharya Pt. Raghunath Vinayak Dulhekar. In 1970 first exams were held by Kanpur University. There are Only 40 seats for Course BAMS in this College. State ayurvedic college and hospital Bandai is approved and recognized by CCIM (Central Council of Indian Medicine) and gets affiliation from the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. Govt. Ayurvedic College Banda offers 1 courses across 1 streams namely Medical and across 1 degrees like BAMS. As you all know that BAMS in India is 5½ Years, 4½ for academic sessions and 1 year for internship. Hostel Facilities are available for the students.
