Swami Kalyan Dev Government Ayurvedic College, Muzaffarnagar Uttar Pradesh, was established in 1978. Situated in Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), the college is governed and run by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The college is recognized by the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Swami Kalyandeo Government Ayurvedic College Muzaffarnagar imparts an undergraduate course - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). The course is a five-and-half-year program. Swami Kalyan Dev Government ayurvedic College Rampur, Muzaffarnagar is the only college of its type in the Merrut Zone of Uttar Pradesh. Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital is located at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It is established in the year 1965. It is situated near National Highway No.58 The nearest Railway station is Bamanhedi & Muzaffar nagar (Northern Railway). It is about 125 Km distant from Delhi.

This college administration under his hand Upto 1975 to 1978, after that it undertaken by U.P. Government. Since then its administrative control is under Director, Ayurveda and Secretary, Medical Education AYUSH, Ministry of AYUSH U.P. Government. The foundation of Government Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Muzaffarnagar was laid in the year of 1975 in the Rampur village, It was done by great effort of shiksha Rishi His Holiness Swami Kalyan Dev ji Maharaj through donation of land with villagers of Rampur. Swami Kalyan Dev (1876-2004) was the follower of well known spiritual saint Swami Viveka Nand Ji & Swami Shrashanand Ji (Founder of famous Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar).
