The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Committee as the designated State Counselling Authority, will oversee the counselling process for admissions to State Quota seats in BAMS and BHMS courses across all government and private institutions in Odisha. Additionally, under the latest guidelines issued by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, the OJEE Committee will also manage the counselling process for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in two private Ayurvedic colleges:

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates seeking admission to BAMS/BHMS courses must have qualified NEET (UG)–2025 with a valid rank and obtained the minimum required percentile, i.e., 50th percentile for General category candidates, 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC candidates, and for candidates with benchmark disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, 45th percentile for General category and 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC categories. The candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31.12.2025. For State Quota seats, the parents of the candidate must be permanent natives of Odisha, and the candidate must produce a valid Resident/Nativity Certificate (Form-III as per Government of Odisha rules) at the time of certificate verification; however, no domicile certificate is required for admission to AIQ seats in Private Institutions. Additionally, candidates must fulfill the ASU&H-UG eligibility criteria, wherein for Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani UG courses, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the 10+2 or equivalent examination is required for General category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates, while for Homeopathy UG courses, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology is required for General category candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates; in the case of persons with disabilities, the minimum qualifying marks in the 10+2 or equivalent examination shall be 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC categories.

| Step1 | All the candidates, who are interested to take part in the BHMS/BAMS Counselling-cum-Admission process and who satisfy the abovementioned eligibility criteria, must register online in the website of OJEE i.e. www.ojee.nic.in by creating their own Username and Password. Only registered candidates will be considered for allotment/admission. |

| Step3 | The candidates, who get provisional allotment in the first round, have to deposit, as part-admission fee, an amount of Rs.5000/-+ Rs.3500/- (Towards University Registration fees) = Total Rs.8500/-online in the candidate’s login portal. Candidates have to pay the differential amount during admission at their respective institutes. |
| Step4 | The candidates, who get provisional allotment, after choice filling, have to (a) pay the part-admission fees of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only)+ Rs.3500/-(Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred towards University Registration fees) through online in candidates login id (b)have to exercise the option of freeze or float and (c) to report at OJEE Cell Gandamunda Bhubaneswar, Odisha as per the schedule date and time for document verification and provisional admission, with list of documents mentioned in Section C: List of Documents required to be verified during document verification at OJEE Cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar. In case the candidate does not report to OJEE Cell for verification of documents and provisional admission the allotted seat will be cancelled and the candidate may participate in 2nd round as per the 2nd round guideline. Choice Locking After Registration – Step-by-Step Process
Important Instructions:
List Of Documents:- Candidates must produce the following original certificates/documents, as applicable to their category, at the time of reporting to the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda, for document verification and provisional admission. Along with the original documents, one set of self-attested photocopies must also be submitted during document verification.
i. Class 10 (10th) Board Certificate and Mark Sheet
ii. Class 12 (+2 Science) Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet
iii. College/School Leaving Certificate
iv. Nativity/Resident Certificate of Odisha (Form–III, as per Rule–3 of the Government of Odisha)
v. SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority, Government of Odisha (as per Rule–8(I)), if applicable
vi. Green Card issued by the Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha, if applicable
vii. EWS Certificate issued by the competent authority, valid for the 2025–26 financial year only, if applicable
Note: Candidates applying under the Physically Challenged (PC) or Ex-Serviceman (ES) quota are advised to refer to Section D (Reservations) for detailed information. To avail admission under any quota, candidates must possess a valid Odisha Nativity/Resident Certificate along with the relevant quota certificate, failing which the allotted seat under the claimed quota will be cancelled during document verification. However, no domicile certificate is required for allotment and admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Private Institutions.
| PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE ALLOTMENT | |
| 1st Round of Allotment | In the first round of counselling, all registered candidates are provisionally allotted seats based on their NEET rank, choices filled, and applicable reservation criteria as declared during registration. Following provisional allotment, candidates must complete the admission formalities by paying the prescribed part-admission fee and university registration fee through their login portal, exercising their option of Freeze or Float, and reporting to the OJEE Cell for document verification and provisional admission; the list of required documents is provided in Section C (List of Documents). Candidates who successfully pay the fees, exercise their option, and complete document verification will be considered provisionally admitted under their allotted category and sub-category. Candidates who fail to complete any of the above steps will be disqualified and excluded from further admission consideration. Additionally, candidates who are unable to produce valid documents for the claimed category or sub-category will lose their provisional allotment, will be treated as General category candidates in subsequent rounds, and must fill fresh choices in the second round of allotment. WITHDRAWAL: Any candidate, who, for any reason, wants to withdraw from the process or wants to resign from the allotted seat, can do so within the stipulated date for ‘withdrawal’ as notified in the schedule and as per the counselling process flow. |
| 2nd Round of Allotment | The second round of counselling will begin with fresh registration for candidates who were not registered earlier. Candidates who were not allotted any seat in the first round, as well as those who were allotted a seat but did not report, must fill fresh choices to be considered for second round allotment. Candidates who have already been allotted a seat in the first round and completed all reporting formalities by opting for freeze or float are not required to take any action in this round; however, candidates who opted for the “float” option may be considered for upgradation based on their NEET rank, choices filled, and availability of seats. Candidates who failed to make online fee payment and/or did not complete the document verification process after first round allotment will be treated as not reported cases. Candidates who receive a fresh allotment in the second round must pay the required fees online and complete the reporting and document verification process at the OJEE Cell as per the prescribed procedure. |
| 3rd Round of Allotment | The third round of counselling will follow the same procedure as the second round, except for the withdrawal process. Candidates who do not wish to continue with the counselling process must withdraw at least three days prior to the third round allotment. After the third round allotment, an upgradation round may be conducted depending on the number of non-reporting candidates. Only after completion of this process will the final allotment letter be made available for download, following which candidates may join the allotted colleges or institutes and commence their academic activities. |
| Stray Vacancy Admission | If any vacancy arises after reporting of candidates in allotted Institutes, Stray vacancy Counseling will be conducted. Procedure and schedule for stary vacancy counseling will be notified later. |
