Sri Kalabyraveshwara Swamy Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre, Bangalore functioning under Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust(R) was established in the year 1996 – 1997 by his holiness Padmabhushana Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji, who was the pioneer of Anna Dasoha (Service through Food), Akshara Dasoha (Service through Education) and Arogya Dasoha (Service through Health). The college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore, and recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, Government of Karnataka, and the Department of Ayush, Government of India.
Sri Kalabyraveshwaraswamy Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Center (SKAMCH & RC) provides very good quality education to 100 undergraduate students in each batch and is providing all the facilities for learning the science and to enable them to become good Ayurveda Doctors. Postgraduate studies were started in the year 2010 - 2011. SKAMCH & RC provides Post-Graduate education in 5 specialized branches of Ayurveda viz., Panchakarma, Kayachikitsa, Prasuti Tantra Evam Stri Roga, Shalya Tantra and Shalakya Tantra with 6 students in each batch. 2. 85% state Government Quota (KEA)
The responsibility of KEA is limited to the conduct of Counseling, which includes online registration, document verification, online Counseling procedure, seat allotment, and the issue of admission orders as per Government Rules. The candidates who wish to seek admission to Medical or Dental or Ayurveda or Unani or Homoeopathy courses in Karnataka must compulsorily qualify for UGNEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam conducted by NTA, New Delhi. The candidates who qualify in the UGNEET exam will only get the eligibility for admission to Medical, Dental, or AYUSH courses through KEA for Government share of seats subject to fulfilling the eligibility clauses of rule 5 of CET-2006 rules.
