
Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthy Government Ayurved College was established in 1955, is one of India's oldest and most prestigious institutions for Ayurvedic education. It is Affiliated with Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh, and approved by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). The college has an annual intake of 60 students for its Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) program, designed according to CCIM guidelines. The institute is located on G.E. Road near NIT Raipur, housed in an architecturally impressive building within a sprawling 89.3-acre eco-friendly campus. Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthy Government Ayurved College is named in honor of the renowned Malgujar Late Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthy, who generously donated five villages for its establishment. The hospital and pharmacy on campus are named after Late Shri Khudadad Dungaji, whose son-in-law Late Shri N.K. Dungaji contributed 23 acres of land for their development. Over the years, the college has expanded its academic offerings to include postgraduate Ayurveda Vachaspati courses in Kayachikitsa (5 seats), Ayurveda Siddhant (3 seats), Rachana Sharir (3 seats), and Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana (3 seats), as well as Ayurveda Dhanwantari courses in Shalya Tantra (3 seats). The allotment of seats is based on the candidate's merit in the NEET (UG)- 2025 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For the A.Y 2025-26 M/o Ayush has decided to include the AIQ seats of B. Pharm (Ay) ITRA, Jamnagar, in the AACCC-UG counseling and the allotment for the said seats is based on the candidate's merit in the NEET (UG)- 2025 as per the eligibility conditions in the relevant Regulations laid down under ITRA Act 2020. The AACCC under the Ministry of Ayush, will conduct four rounds of online counseling for admissions into 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. These rounds include the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds, followed by two phases of the Stray Vacancy Round (SVR-I & SVR-II).

Candidates who are qualified and eligible must register on the Directorate of AYUSH Chhattisgarh website (https://cgayush.admissions.nic.in) to participate in the online counseling process, as seats are not allotted manually or through nominations. It is recommended to use the same mobile number and email ID as used during the NEET (UG)-2025 registration. For a smooth registration and choice-filling process, candidates should use a laptop or computer with an updated browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox) and ensure their phone is equipped with the SANDES app to receive OTPs. Candidates should regularly check the Directorate’s website for schedules, seat allotments, results, and updates, as individual notifications will not be sent. Any legal matters regarding the counseling process must be addressed in the Hon’ble High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur jurisdiction.

Eligibility Criteria for BAMS/BHMS: Candidates must have passed the 12th (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English as compulsory subjects. Applications for AYUSH-UG Counseling must be submitted online exclusively through the Directorate of AYUSH, Chhattisgarh website (https://cgayush.admissions.nic.in) with separate registrations for BAMS/BHMS and BNYS courses. Candidates must complete the application independently, without third-party assistance, and can submit only one application; multiple submissions will result in disqualification. Registration does not guarantee a seat, as admission depends on fulfilling merit, eligibility, and institutional criteria. Information provided during registration must be accurate and self-certified, as no changes will be allowed later. Incorrect details or failure to present required documents will lead to cancellation of admission. Candidates should verify eligibility/domicile status before registering for State Quota or AIQ seats of private colleges. A unique password must be created and kept confidential to prevent misuse. Separate registrations are required for BAMS/BHMS and BNYS courses, and candidates may select State Quota, AIQ seats, or both during registration. A non-refundable registration fee is payable once until the Mop-up round, with fresh registration required for the Stray Vacancy round.

The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, conducts online counseling for admission to Post Graduate (MD/MS) courses in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy (ASU&H). The counseling is based on AIAPGET-2025 scores and is applicable for seats in Government, Government-aided, Central Universities, National Institutes, and Deemed Universities.

Only AIAPGET-2025 qualified candidates can apply/register for AACCC-PG counseling.
Step 1: Registration – Candidates must register on the AACCC-PG portal to participate in counseling for admission to ASU&H-AIQ seats under Govt./Govt.-Aided/Central Universities/National Institutes/Deemed Universities.
Step 2: Payment of Counseling Fee – Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee + refundable security deposit as per their chosen counseling category.
Step 3: Choice Filling – Candidates select their preferred streams and institutes. If they do not lock their choices in time, the system will auto-lock them as per server time.
Step 4: Seat Allotment Processing – Seats are allotted based on merit and candidate choices locked during choice filling.
Step 5: Provisional Result Publication – The provisional allotment result is published on the AACCC-PG portal. Candidates can email [email protected] for queries before the final result is published.
Step 6: Final Seat Allotment List – The final result is published, and candidates can download the allotment letter from the AACCC-PG portal.
Step 7: Physical Reporting – Candidates must report to their allotted college/institute with all original documents within the stipulated time (Refer to FAQs 25-30).

Step 3: Choice filling as per the candidate’s preference on streams and Institute. The choices filled during the 1st & 2nd Round become null & void (candidates can lock their choices as per schedule; if the candidate cannot lock the choices in time, it will automatically be locked as per server time).
Step 4: Processing of seat allotment as per candidate’s merit and choices on streams and institutes locked by the candidate/locked as per server time on the portal.
Step 5: Publication of provisional result on the AACCC-PG portal; if any queries on the allotment, candidates must mail to [email protected] within the specified time before publishing the final result. Requests/queries on allotment after publishing the final result shall not be entertained.
Step 6: Publication of final Seat allotment list (final result): Candidates can download the provisional allotment letter from the AACCC-PG portal.
Step 7: Publication of list of candidates who secured their AIQ-PG seats through R-1/R-2 till the date of announcement of R-3 final result and who have been allotted seats in R-3 are ineligible for any Ayush-PG Counseling 2025 (Central/State-UT). These candidates are ineligible to participate in other Ayush-PG counseling.
In this regard, it is also informed that the candidates who withdraw their seats during the period between 3 days before the commencement of R-3 and till the date of announcement of R-3 final result (excluding the final result date) are ineligible for AACCC-PG Counseling due to non-compliance of AACCC-PG Counseling scheme 2025.
Step 8: Physical Reporting to the allotted college/institute with all original documents (Refer FAQ No.25 to 30) within the stipulated time as per schedule.
Note: The registration unlocking facility schedule is available “as a one-time measure” for all candidates who have not locked their choices to edit/modify the candidate's registration details on the portal if they fill in any wrong information.

Qualified and eligible candidates of AIAPGET-2025 must register online on the Chhattisgarh Ayush Counseling website (https://cgayush.admissions.nic.in) to participate in the counseling process, as the Directorate of AYUSH, Chhattisgarh does not allot seats manually or on a nomination basis. Candidates should carefully read and understand all rules and regulations published on the counseling website before registration, as submission of the online application implies acceptance of all terms and conditions of the AYUSH-PG counseling scheme. The same mobile number and email ID used during AIAPGET-2025 registration must be used for counseling, and candidates are advised to complete registration and choice filling using a laptop or computer with the latest version of Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Windows, or iOS to avoid technical issues. Downloading the SANDES app is recommended for receiving OTPs, especially in areas with poor mobile network connectivity. Candidates must regularly check the counseling website for schedules, seat allotment results, updates, and notices, as no individual communication will be made by the Directorate. Any legal matters related to counseling will fall under the jurisdiction of the Hon’ble High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur. The 15% All India Quota seats of Government Ayurved Colleges will be filled through AACCC, Ministry of AYUSH, via separate counseling, while counseling for 15% AIQ seats of private institutes along with 85% Chhattisgarh State Quota seats of all institutes will be conducted by the Directorate of AYUSH, Chhattisgarh; these seats are open category and domicile-free. Candidates are also advised to verify the fee structure, stipend, bond, hostel, food, and other conditions directly from the respective college websites or authorities before filling their choices, as this information is provided by the colleges themselves.
Registration/Application: Application for AYUSH-PG Counseling can be submitted only through online mode on the Chhattisgarh Ayush Counseling website (https://cgayush.admissions.nic.in) and applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to fill the application themselves and not through any agent or third party and only one online application/registration form is permitted; submission of more than one application will lead to cancellation of candidature debarment from the counseling process and further action by the Directorate of AYUSH, Chhattisgarh or the State Government. Registration for AYUSH-PG counseling does not guarantee allotment of a postgraduate seat, as selection and admission are strictly subject to merit, eligibility, admission criteria, and conditions prescribed by NCISM/NCH Acts, concerned institutions, Central Government, and State Government.
Candidates must ensure that all details filled in the online application are correct and factual, as the information will be treated as self-certified and no request for correction or modification (including name, date of birth, category, nationality, or contact details) will be entertained under any circumstances; incorrect information or failure to produce required documents at the time of admission will result in cancellation of admission. Candidates should verify their eligibility and domicile status before registering for State Quota seats and All India Quota seats of private colleges. During registration, candidates must create a unique password and keep it confidential to avoid misuse, as sharing the password may lead to exclusion from the allotment process; the password can be changed as per convenience. Candidates may opt for State Quota seats, AIQ seats of private institutes or both during registration, as per their eligibility and preference.
The non-refundable registration/application fee is to be paid once and will be valid up to the Mop-up round; fresh registration with payment of the fee will be required only for the Stray Vacancy Round if seats remain vacant, while candidates already registered and not allotted any seat earlier need not re-register and only need to fill choices, and those already allotted a seat in Round 1, Round 2, or Mop-up Round will not be eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round. Additionally, candidates must deposit a security amount of ₹10,000 at the time of registration, which will be fully refunded if the candidate takes admission on the allotted seat or is not allotted any seat in any round; however, the security deposit will be forfeited if the candidate does not take admission after allotment or cancels the admission after allotment.
Counseling: Online Counseling will be conducted in following four rounds
