Shri Narayan Prasad Awathy Government Ayurved College,Raipur, is a Government College established in the year 1955. The college is affiliated to Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University,Raipur, located in Chhattisgarh with an annual intake of 60 seats.
Shri Narayan Prasad Awathy Government Ayurved College Raipur (C.G.) a pioneer institute of Ayurveda and counting as one of oldest institute of Ayurveda in India. It is located on the G.E. Road near the NIT, Raipur and functioning in aesthetically designed building. The institute is named in the honour of famous Malgujar Late Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthiji. The College hospital is named in the honour of Late Shri Khudadad Dungaji Who donate the land for the Campus.Govt. Ayurved College Raipur is spread in a huge, 89.3Acres of lush green eco-friendly campus. For this the famous Malgujar Late Shri Narayan Prasad Awasthiji donated five villages. Similarly a prominent businessman Late Shri N. K. Dungaji donated 23 Acres of land in the name of his father in law Late Shri Khudadad Dungaji. On this land at present Shri Khudadad Dungaji Govt. Ayurved College Hospital and Pharmacy are functioning.

In 1979 Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicin and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) course designed by CCIM guidelines and the students were awarded degree from Ravishankar University, Raipur.Ayurveda vachaspati postgraduate courses in Kayachikitsa (5 Seats), Ayurveda Siddhant (3 Seats), Rachana Sharir (3 Seats), Rashashastra and Bhaisajya Kalpana (3 Seats) and Ayurveda Dhanwantari postgraduate courses in Shalya Tantra (3 Seats) started.

The counselling of Ayush Courses in Chhattisgarh for 2021 will be done by CG Health Department, Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Ayush Counselling-2021 (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) ayush counselling will be done in online mode on the official website of CG HEALTH Chhattisgarh i.e http://cghealth.nic.in/ Students will have to fill the application form for Chhattisgarh Ayush Counselling-2021 (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) counselling.
CG HEALTH will conduct the counselling Process for admission in Ayush courses i.e BAMS BUMS BHMS for session 2021-22. Students who fulfill the eligibility criteria and have cleared NEET 2021 Exam can fill the application form for Chhattisgarh Ayush BAMS BUMS BHMS Counselling 2021. Chhattisgarh BAMS BUMS BHMS Counselling application form 2021 will be filled in Online Mode on the official website of CG Health Department, Chhattisgarh i.e Http://cghealth.nic.in/.
1. Candidates of Chhattisgarh domicile only are eligible for admission in B.A.M.S Course through this counselling board.
2. Candidates must be of minimum 17 years and not more than 25 years as on December 31, 2021.
3. Students should have passed 10+2 with Science Biology with English (50% for General and 40% for SC/ST/OBC marks in aggregate are compulsory in Physics, Chemistry, Biology)
4.Applicant must be NEET qualified.
5. Applicants should be an Indian.

Applicants must have finished 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as compulsory courses with a minimum of 50 %, 40 % for SC/ST category candidates, and 45 % for Physically Handicapped candidates.
