The candidate must be an Indian citizen and must register online with the State CET Cell, Mumbai, through the official State CET Cell website.

Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates will be eligible for admission to Government, Corporation, Government-Aided, and Private Unaided colleges for the academic year 2024-25, provided they obtained OCI status before 04/03/2021. Additionally, the candidate must have completed their 10th and 12th grades in the state of Maharashtra and must either be a domicile of Maharashtra or have resided in the state for a minimum of 10 years. (As per Annexure – CC and the Hon’ble Supreme Court Order in W.P (C) No. 891 of 2021 dated 03/02/2023).

Eligible candidates from across India, including Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Outside Maharashtra Candidates (OMS) who have appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) and are declared eligible for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and BUMS courses, will be considered for institutional quota seats. These seats will be filled by the Competent Authority through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

This is in accordance with the directives issued in:

• Notification No. MED.1016/C.R.69/16/Edu-2, Medical Education and Drugs Department, Government of Maharashtra (18/04/2017),
• Government of India Gazette F. No. BOA/Regulation/UG/7-10/2021, dated 16/02/2022,
• Government of India Gazette F. No. 11-76/2021-BUSS (Unani-U.G.Regl.), dated 28/02/2022,
• Comprehensive Guidelines for Counseling and Admission in Undergraduate (UG-BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) and Postgraduate (PGMD/MS) courses of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homeopathy (ASU&H), dated 14/10/2022.

i. Copy of downloaded NEET-UG 2024 Admit Card

ii. Any Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card/Driving License, PAN Card, Passport)

iii. Copy of downloaded NEET-UG 2024 result/marksheet.

iv. Nationality Certificate issued by District Magistrate/Addl. District Magistrate / Metropolitan Magistrate (Competent Authority for issue of such certificate)orvalid Indian Passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as ‘Indian’.

v. Domicile Certificate issued by District Magistrate/Metropolitan Magistrate/ Addl. District Magistrate or Competent Authority for issue of such certificate.

vi. SSC i.e. 10th Standard or equivalent examination certificate, school leaving certificate or Birth certificate indicating name of the candidate (for Date of Birth).

vii. HSC i.e. 12th Standard or equivalent examination Statement of Marks.

viii. Medical fitness certificate (Annexure-H).

ix. Aadhar Card.

a) Caste Certificate

b) Caste Validity Certificate (CVC)

d) EWS candidates should produce eligibility certificate in prescribed format issued by appropriate authority, for year 2024-25. (Annexure - T)

xii. Document Supporting Religious Minority Status of the candidate:-

(a) The person belonging to Jain / Muslim / Christian Minority have to produce School leaving certificate stating that Candidate belongs to Jain/ Muslim / Christian Minority, or Certificate from Religious place that they belongs to Jain / Muslim / Christian Minority, and

(b) Affidavit stating that they belong to Jain / Muslim / Christian Minority.

xiii. Applicant belongs to Gujarati/Sindhi Minority:

(a) The person belonging to Gujarati/SindhiMinority have to produce School leaving certificate stating that Candidate belongs to Gujarati/Sindhi Minority,and / or

(b) Affidavit stating that they belong to Gujarati/Sindhi Minority.

xiv. Applicant belongs to Hindi Linguistic Minority :

(a) The Candidates belonging to Hindi Linguistic minority must produce School Leaving Certificate stating that Candidates mother tongue is Hindi. In case there is no entry of mother tongue on School Leaving Certificate, he / she should bring the Certificate of Head Master / Principal of that School / Junior College certifying that his/her mother tongue is Hindi, and

(b) Affidavit stating that he / she belongs to Hindi Linguistic Minority.

xv. Necessary transfer order(s) of the parent (Rule 4.7 and Rule 4.8. and Annexure- C Def-3).

xvi. For NRI/OCI candidate have to produce required certificate as per Annexure - Y.

• If a candidate accepts their Round 1 seat but wishes to upgrade to a better option, they should not submit the Status Retention Form. Instead, they must submit fresh preferences
  for Round 2.
• If a candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted in Round 1 and does not wish to participate in Round 2 for seat upgradation, they can submit a Status Retention Form. By doing
  so, they will not be considered for any subsequent rounds in the NEET-UG 2024 admission process. However, if the candidate chooses to resign from the allotted seat before
  the stipulated deadline, they will remain eligible to participate in Round 2 and Round 3.
• If a candidate is selected in Round 1 of counseling but does not report to the allotted institute, it will be considered a "free exit" (this option is available only in Round 1 and
  Round 2). No new registration is required in this case. However, the candidate can participate in Round 2 and Round 3 by logging in with their existing registration details and
  submitting fresh preferences. The seat allotted in Round 1 will be canceled. The unclaimed seat will be treated as vacant as of the last date of joining, and from the next day,
  it will be available for allotment in Round 2 of the admission process.

• Seats that remain unallotted after Round 1.
• Seats vacated due to non-joining or cancellation by candidates allotted in Round 1.
• Seats made available due to upgradation of candidates who were allotted and joined a seat in Round 1.

• Registered candidates who did not submit choices in Round 1.
• Registered candidates who participated in Round 1 but were not allotted a seat.
• Registered candidates whose seat allotment in Round 1 was canceled during document verification due to an invalid or incorrect claim. If the candidate is otherwise eligible for selection after correcting the claim, the Round 1 selection will be invalid, and they will be considered for available seats in Round 2 with the updated claim.
• Candidates who reported and joined the allotted institute in Round 1 but did not submit the Status Retention Form.
• Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but did not join.
• Candidates who joined and later resigned before the last date of joining for Round 1.
• Candidates must submit fresh preferences for Round 2, as the choices made in Round 1 will be considered null and void. If a candidate is not interested in participating in Round 2, they should refrain from submitting any preferences. In such cases, candidates who have already joined their allotted seat in Round 1 will retain their Round 1 seat allocation.
• The seat allotment for Round 2 will be based on merit and the preferences submitted by candidates for Round 2. If a candidate who joined in Round 1 is upgraded in Round 2 (according to their preferences submitted for Round 2), their seat from Round 1 will become available and will be allotted to another candidate based on merit in Round 2. If the candidate who joined in Round 1 does not receive an upgrade in Round 2 (i.e., no new seat is allotted in Round 2), they will retain their original seat from Round 1.
• The following types of candidates are not eligible for seat allotment in Round 2: 1) Candidates who have accepted a seat in Round 1 and submitted the Status Retention Form. 2) Candidates who have not submitted fresh preferences for Round 2.
• If a candidate is selected in Round 2, they must join the college or institute allotted during that round. Once the candidate joins the allotted institute in Round 2 and opts for seat retention, they will be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of the State Counseling Process.
• If a candidate does not join the seat allotted in Round 2, they will only be eligible for further rounds of selection after re-registering for Round 3 and paying the online registration fee as per Rule 7.1.

• Registered candidates who did not submit preferences in Round 1 and Round 2.
• Registered candidates who participated in Round 1 and Round 2 but were not allotted any seats.
• Candidates who were allotted and joined a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 but did not complete the Status Retention process.
• Candidates who have registered for Round 3.
• Candidate will have to fill fresh preferences for Round 3. All previous preferences will be considered as null & void.

• Candidates who have accepted a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 under State Quota seats and have submitted the Status Retention form.
• Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 3 under All India Quota seats.

If a candidate is allotted a seat in Round 3, they must join the college and accept the seat allocated in that round. The candidate will not be eligible for participation in any subsequent rounds of the State Counseling Process.

After Round 3, additional Online CAP Stray Vacancy Rounds will be conducted if any seats remain vacant.

• Seats that remain unallotted during Round 3.
• Seats that become vacant due to the non-joining of candidates allotted in Round 3.

• Candidates who have accepted a seat in Round 1, Round 2, and/or were allotted a seat in Round 3.
• Candidates who have accepted a seat in Round 1, Round 2, and/or were allotted a seat in Round 3 under the All India Quota.
