GJ Patel Institute of Ayurvedic Studies & Research is situated in Anand in Gujarat state of India. Established in 2006, it is accredited from Central Council of Indian Medicine CCIM and it is affiliated to Gujarat Ayurved University. GJIASR, Anand offers 1 courses across 1 streams namely Medical and across 1 degrees like BAMS. Hostel facility is not available for its students.

The College has well equipped library with a rich collection of more than 12,000 useful books in various dialects. Along with number of well known journals, various news papers, news letters, e-materials, etc. Library is enabled with bar coding system which ensures secured borrowing facility.Well equipped laboratories for individual departments having sophisticated equipments to train the students to get first hand experience.

The College possess a well-planned garden covering 10 acres of land with unique plantation of over 350 species of medicinal plants. Classical concept of plantation are also been demonstrated and plant species is planted as per various Botanical, Astronomical and Ayurvedic categorization like Ganas, Skandas etc.

There is provision of air conditioned Internet enabled computer laboratory equipped with more than 25 computers accessible to students for their project works. A basic computer training course is conducted for the students.

The College is attached with fully functional and well facilitated Hospital having 300 indoor bed capacity and various specialty OPDs treating around 60,000 patients per annum.

In Gujarat Counseling for AYUSH is conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) .ACPUGMEC is limited to the conduct of centralized Counseling, which includes online registration, document verification, online/offline Counseling procedure, seat allotment and issue of admission order as per NEET UG of current academic year. Candidates are advised to go through the user manual in the registration portal while filling the online registration form given at http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx

Course Duration:

5 ½ Years (Study Period – 4 ½ Years + Compulsory Rotating Internship 1 Year)

Eligibility:

1. Applicants must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, Biology as mandatory subjects.
2. Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in Biology /Biotechnology, Physics & Chemistry.
3. The Minimum age of the applicant at the time of admission should be 17 years.
4. Applicant must be NEET qualified.
5. Applicants should be an Indian.

6. Migration certificate (T.C.) from the University or College last attended
7. In case of having a breach of study, an affidavit must be submitted by the candidate that during the gap period he/she was not involved – in any political activity, Criminal activity and no Criminal case is pending against him/her in any court of law.
8. Six passport sized colour photographs.
