Bapuji Ayurvedic Medical College is one of the best and well known ayurvedic medical college in the district of Shimoga, an entrance to picturesque malnad region of Karnataka. The college is running under BAPUJI educational trust ® Honnali. The college is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Government of India and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The college was established in the year 1996. The college is associated with hospital facility where each and every student will obtain quality clinical experience along with class room teaching offered by well experienced, highly qualified and dedicated teaching faculty.

The college has well equipped 14 departments, extensive library and requisite Laboratories. All the departments have highly qualified and experienced staff to enrich the knowledge of students in undergraduate courses. Periodic Guest lectures, Seminars, CME and Workshops are being arranged to accomplish academic development of students.
BAMC(Bapuji Ayurvedic Medical College) is spread across 10 acres of land. The campus consists of Main administrative block, hospital (both OPD & IPD), college block, canteen and hostel. BAMC has 60 bedded hospital and a pharmacy.
The College possesses well equipped laboratory with modern equipment's as per CCIM norms and helpful to conduct experiments as required for pursuing the course. The laboratory is open for the students in college hours under the observation of a lab technician. The laboratory can also be open for public to diagnose their problems accurately by taking minimum charges.
Hospital :
Out Patient Department : The hospital is providing out patient medical services on all specialties. Consultation will be available for public from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on all working days, 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM on Sundays & General holidays.
In Patient Department : In order to cater the need of people with different health issues BAMC is built up with fully equipped 60 bedded hospital for in patients with all basic amenities like cots & beds, toilet & bath rooms, hot water and all clinical requirements.
The hospital is manned by sufficient number of efficient and experienced medical & paramedical staff, therapists and technicians. The hospital is equipped with panchakarma theatre and special treatment rooms. There is an operation theatre to conduct surgery and Para surgical procedures. There is a separate yoga & physiotherapy center in the hospital.

The KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority conducts a centralized online counseling process for Karnataka state, offering admissions to various types of seats: Government seats in Government colleges, Government seats in private colleges, Private/Management seats, and NRI seats in private colleges. KEA organizes this counseling in four rounds. The application form for UG NEET counseling will be available in the UG NEET section of the KEA website.
In Karnataka, 85% of seats in government and government-aided institutions (excluding the 15% All India Quota managed by AACCC), along with seats in private institutions (including State Quota, All India Quota, and Management/NRI Quota), for AYUSH undergraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, and Homeopathy will be allocated through the KEA – Karnataka Examination Authority.

The allotment of seats will be conducted online, first round, second round followed by the Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round (subject to availability of seats).

Choice- 1 | I am satisfied with the seat allotted to me and hereby confirm my willingness to report to the assigned college. I request not to be considered for further seat allotments in any subsequent rounds for any college or discipline. I will proceed with paying the prescribed fees for the allotted seat through the available payment methods (e-Challan, NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, or online payment gateway) as detailed on the KEA website. After making the payment and submitting the required original documents, I will download the admission order and report to the college. Subsequently, I will log in to my Option Entry ID and confirm to KEA that I have successfully joined the college. |
Choice-2 | "I am satisfied with the allotted seat but wish to participate in the next round. Such candidates must pay the prescribed fees by downloading the challan or allotment details from the KEA website for the seat confirmed or allotted in the first round, and deposit the original documents. If a higher preference seat is allotted in the next round, the earlier allotted seat will be automatically canceled. However, if a higher preference is not allotted, the initially allotted seat will remain in the candidate’s favor." |
